Yes, I know, we’re all shocked —– shocked, I say, to hear and read that May Day “celebrations” turned violent. It happens all over the world every May 1. But, it is pretty disheartening to read about it happening in the U.S.

(CNN)May Day protests in Seattle turned violent on Sunday, as protesters lit fireworks and threw rocks and Molotov cocktails at police, Seattle Police said.
After a peaceful march was held earlier in the day, nine people were arrested and five officers were injured in the clashes, according to police.

Seattle Mayor Ed Murray thanked police for their “extraordinary work” in a statement.
“It is unfortunate and deeply regrettable that in a city that goes to incredible lengths to respect First Amendment rights, there are some who disregard our values and engage in senseless acts of violence and property destruction,” he said. “My thoughts are with the officers who were injured.”
One officer sustained a facial laceration, another was bitten and a third was hit by a Molotov cocktail but not burned. …….
The person who threw the Molotov cocktail deserved to be shot and killed for that action. It is a horribly violent act and is life threatening making this picture pretty ironic.

Before Indiana, he needed 43% of the remaining. That percent went down considering he won 100% of Indiana, so I suspect there is enough.

Lat, they’ll still have their “primaries”, but, it will perfunctory. Technically, it is still possible to have Trump come under the mandatory 50%, but, it won’t happen. No one is seriously going to vote for someone else who isn’t running. Later, at the convention, they’ll have their perfunctory vote, in which Trump will win on the first round of voting. Then, it’s off to insane world.
It will be interesting to see if Trump changes his tone and rhetoric.
