Must See ‘Shot/Chaser’ Vid On Tax Cuts!!!!!

There’s not much commentary for this. It simply demonstrates the staggering ignorance of things economic by the left.  To be sure, not all coorporate tax cuts would result in increases of wages for the workers.  Indeed, perhaps, not even most tax cuts.  Also, these companies aren’t doing this because they love their workers this much.  It’s an investment in which these companies expect a return.

So, why are they doing this?  This isn’t hard ……..  Trump is slowing the flow of importing cheap labor into the US.  The US still has the largest workforce in the free world, and is the world’s largest consumer nation.  Couple that with the reduction of the coorporate tax rate, which brings incentive to have the companies in the US ….. well, they want to keep their workers!  Add to that the growth rate of the GDP (soon to be officially the highest since 2005!) and it’s easy to see why these huge coorporations are giving bonuses and increasing wages.

Additional thoughts ……..

This calls into serious question the need for a federal minimum wage law.  When the minimum wage for these coorporations go up like this, it gives an increased pressure for the rest of the employers to increase their wages, else, all the good talent will go to the higher paying jobs.  Even an increase in their minimum wages produces pressure on the wages paid to people with higher wages.

Also, while we’re not there, yet, we need to keep an eye on inflation.  Unless productivity increases among the workers, coupled with lower taxes for the workers, and the increase in our GDP, we’re going to see inflation.  How bad?  IDK.  But, I do believe if we continue to lower the flow of importing labor, the increases in the wealth of the average American will easily out-balance the inflationary propensity of these recent events.  This is what winning looks like!

The Shit hole networks wrong again and again and again. They want America to fail to prove they are right. One big problem for them they are NEVER RIGHT – ALWAYS LEFT!!!

Heh! Yeh, and that’s their problem. They want America to fail so much that anytime someone comes up with some good notions for the US, they invent reasons why it’s a bad idea, then, it bites them in the arse!

My take….the left has so over played their hand there’s no going back
Trump’s shithole comment, if he even really said it or not, has nailed them….other than the pay to play libs….everyone else nodded in agreement

The Tax and Jobs Bill is working exactly as designed and expected. That’s how you raise living standards by creating more jobs and demand for labour.

Let’s see those offshore cash piles come home and create even more jobs, more investment and improving infrastructure. Inflation is not a worry as ingenuity and innovation in training, equipment upgrades and improving management will drive productivity upwards.

We are entering a new and exciting time in American history driven by the unique intellect, experience and drive of Donald Trump. Very exciting times indeed.

You might be deploying to a “Shit Hole”:

I’m afraid you might already be a shithole if you have millions of guns, and still allow your government to argue over its duty to make sure you don’t become one.

Minimum wage is a recession prolonger. As anyone can see now (except liberals of course), companies are increasing their starting rate without government intervention for one simple reason. They are competing for employees. That is how it works.

But then the left will come back and ask “ok, so what is the big deal about codifying it in law?”

Simple, No economy expands continuously forever. There are corrections. And the way to prolong the corrections is to not allow the law of supply and demand to work. In other words, put a false bottom on it. That is why Obama killed his recovery. When employees are competing for jobs, wages fall (hence why big Business loves unrestricted immigration). When companies compete for employees, wages rise.

This is not rocket science. But it is totally foreign to liberals.

Companies don’t really pay taxes–they just pass it on to their customers. The usual argument for taxing companies (other than having an easy revenue source) is that companies should pay for the “privilege” of doing business in their community. This silly argument goes out the window when a large company decides to relocate. There’s a mad rush to grant them special “tax incentives,” either not to relocate or to locate in various jurisdictions. That’s because everyone knows that companies provide jobs which is all the justification they need to do business in any community.

The Democrats now have control of both houses of the legislature and the governorship in the People’s Republic of Washington State. So what’s first on their agenda (besides raising taxes)? Gun control–of course.

There’s no love lost between Los Angeles and San Francisco either. Those in San Francisco dislike Los Angeles. For example, try calling San Francisco “S-F” in San Francisco and you will be told that this isn’t Los Angels (where their citizens call their city “L-A”).

The fact that the San Andreas Fault was moving Los Angeles closer to San Francisco is also bothering San Franciscans.

The false Hawaiian missile attack raises an interesting point: we are woefully unprepared in case of a nuclear attack. Here in the People’s Republic of Washington State, it is against the law to prepare for a nuclear attack! There are really stupid liberals running this state. They think if you prepare for a nuclear attack–it will become more likely. So that must mean if we learn CPR–heart attacks will be more likely. If we practice fire drills–fires will be more likely.

Being prepared is the Boy Scout motto and is always good advice. Of course, these liberals hate the Boy Scouts too.

How about preparing for a tsunami or earthquake?….seems that would fly right in the face of their theory

      • Jim Masterson says:

Your examples are natural disasters and aren’t really a problem to them. I was joking about CPRs and fire drills.

I believe their real argument goes along this line:
A well trained population has a higher nuclear survival rate than one that isn’t trained. Say our President decides to flip the coin and launch a nuclear attack. While considering the options, the President might decide that a well trained population makes the survival rate higher and go for a nuclear launch. If the population isn’t well trained, then the President might decide the losses are too high and go against a nuclear launch.

You have to also realize that Reagan was President in 1983, and him launching a nuclear attack on his own was a common liberal fear. The Washington Governor at the time was a Republican, so you see how stupid our Republicans are in this state.

Notice how this will go with “Climate Change.” Using the same stupid liberal thinking: “We caused this problem so adapting to climate change is inappropriate. We must do everything in our power to stop climate change.”
