I had to check to see if this wasn’t some sort of parody story. It isn’t. When one considers the implications of such a missive, it’s shocking and massively depressing. It’s one of the reasons why I essentially retired from blogging. It hurts too much.
There’s a never ending of material to write about if you know where to look. The Guardian being one of the better examples. Today, while reading another site, I was directed to a little article one of there more celebrated “journalists” wrote. It’s pretty short, so, I’ll replicate (my bold) ….
Why Genghis Khan was good for the planet
His empire lasted a century and a half and eventually covered nearly a quarter of the earth’s surface. His murderous Mongol armies were responsible for the massacre of as many as 40 million people. Even today, his name remains a byword for brutality and terror. But boy, was Genghis green.
Genghis Khan, in fact, may have been not just the greatest warrior but the greatest eco-warrior of all time, according to a study by the Carnegie Institution’s Department of Global Energy. It has concluded that the 13th-century Mongol leader’s bloody advance, laying waste to vast swaths of territory and wiping out entire civilisations en route, may have scrubbed 700m tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere – roughly the quantity of carbon dioxide generated in a year through global petrol consumption – by allowing previously populated and cultivated land to return to carbon-absorbing forest.
An intriguing notion, certainly. But possibly not a guaranteed vote-winner for the Green party’s next manifesto.
A few years back, I wrote a mini-series I called “How I Know”. If one was to search my site with those words, you’ll be able to read the series. This post would go well with the How I Know Enviro-Alarmists Are Misanthropists And Work Against Human Advancement post. It was about how I know what sort of people the eco-climate lunatic people are. I know because they told us what sort of people they are. It’s all out there in the open. I encourage any new reader to do as I suggested and search for the series and read the quotes of these people. They are horrid creatures. They despise humanity and desire humanity to be wiped from the face of the planet and to suffer horribly while it happens.
Today, we see, yet, another example of their horrid misanthropy. The author (Jon Henley) of this missive readily acknowledges the murderous history of Genghis Khan. Yet, he finds he had such a redeemable characteristic, in that he could have prevented some CO2 from getting to our atmosphere, that he could make a moral comparison between slaughtering entire civilizations and the imaginary ecological benefits from such a slaughter. Kinda goes with the ‘at least he kept the trains running on time’ notion, amirite?
I fully believe that once the larger populous realizes the type of people these lunatics are, they’ll out of hand reject all of their idiotic notions. I just pray it won’t be too late when they do.

File under the category of the CAGW clowns hate humanity! This is just one writer looking for an excuse to praise a mass murderer. And that surprises you how? The only mass murderer that the left has NOT resurrected (yet) is Hitler. They adore all the others and it is only the Holocaust, and their inability to erase it from memory (not from lack of trying) that they have not been able to resurrect him.
