The Difference Between Moore And Franken Demonstrated!!!!

image

Moral relativism and “whataboutism” is too prevelent today.  Of course, it’s intentional.  It usually has to do with a letter behind the name of the person.

Today, it’s the favorite game from the people on the left to bring up Roy Moore, the Repub candidate for senator from Alabama.  It’s pretty funny considering the fellows out in Seattle, Cali, Conyers, and Franken (all from the left and plenty more).  Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty on the Repub side to be condemned, even a former Speaker of the House.  And, that’s the difference between the two people I’ve highlighted in this more recent hubbub.  There is a difference between the actions of Franken and the alleged actions of Moore, and no, it doesn’t have to do with age.

For the people on the left, can you guess what it is?  ……………. No? …………… Give up?  …………

It’s PROOF YOU IMBECILES!!!!!!!!  Proof, evidence, something that coroborates the accusations!  Something that would cause a skeptic to believe this is something other than a political witchhunt.  Indeed, one hardcore leftist even stated that she’s not concerned about innocent men when it comes to sexual assault accusations.  Given the left’s embracing of the “rules for radicals” and their ‘end justifies the means’ MO, I’m skeptical every time an accusation such as what is being levied at Moore is brought up.  Remember, boys and girls, most often when the left accuses the right of something, it is called “projection”.

There was a time in the history of the US, we, as a people, presumed the innocence of a man (or a woman) until such a time they were demonstrated as being guilty.  Indeed, this is codeified in our judicial system.  This is the difference between the Franken saga and the Moore accusations.  With Franken, there are pictures, apologies, and more.  With Moore, there are simply accusations, oddly, supposedly buttressed by accusations of legal behavior.  He must have sexually assaulted a 14 y/o, because he once dated an 18 y/o, or some such idiocy.

And, for those who may scream ……..  I’m not defending Roy Moore, I’m asking for actual evidence.  Don’t have any?  Then, the accusations are not to be believed.  That’s how it is suppose to work in America.

The thing is, to me, busting Project Veritas does not help The Washington Post’s credibility at all. This was a blitz that was picked up and nothing more. It does not prove that the WP wouldn’t use a fraudulent accusation nor that they didn’t use such.

Besides, it was Allred’s actions that hurt them the most.

Ugh, the ad war is heating up. My sister just told me about a youtube ad that may be aimed at younger voters. My nephew had an audio loop playing when the ad rotated in. The ad says or implies that a voter’s vote is public record, such that a voter’s vote for Judge Moore is public, and such information could be used against the voter. It is not, while being on the registered voter roll is public record and voting at the precinct is obviously public, the vote itself isn’t. There are booths and cameras are not allowed. That said, I wouldn’t put it past activists to try something like that. [And people wonder why segments of the people do not speak openly about some things, yeah, just like Jim Crow this is, or, say, Venezuela this is.]

Given that Google owns YouTube, it is possible that a search may fail, since Google could make sure that such an ad is not indexed by either its own crawler or by the crawlers used by others. Since I turn location service off as a general rule and only allow it for specified uses, I suspect that any ad Google feeds me wouldn’t serve that particular one.

Oh well, just a heads up. If this works, expect the left to do this again as much as they can.

It’s just a matter of time until BLM figures out that all these women that have been assaulted…
…are white!……then the funs really going to begin

In the mean time the MSM is trying to deflect from the libs/dems by keeping us guessing…
..what do you call a white man in a dress that identifies as a lesbian

I don’t think the world has gone nuts…..just most of the people on it

And they say voter fraud doesn’t happen; well, strictly speaking this: http://sos.alabama.gov/newsroom/secretary-state-john-h-merrill-provides-clarification-roy-moore-campaigns-letter-media isn’t quite fraud, but it is close.

  11. cdquarles says:

Well, I am impressed. The weather service finally got a snow forecast for Alabama correct in December. No accumulation on the roads or bare ground, yet 0.5 to 2 in accumulations on grassy or other surfaces.

I can recall two other December snowfalls here. Late Dec 1962/early Jan 1963 and just before Christmas 1971. That particular event was memorable because of the high volatility. Warm before the snow, big front with storms, big cool off, secondary low bringing snow just before Christmas. By Christmas, the snow was gone. Two days later, it’s warm. There was another snowstorm in 1976, but that one was in January, when classes resumed at the university. Of course, there was the Blizzard of ’93. That one was in mid-March and featured thunder-snow.

    • Latitude says:

cd, relatives got over 6 inches on the east side of B’ham….Alex made a 8ft tall snowman….roads were icy slush

      • cdquarles says:

Sweet. I’m not that far away from Birmingham. 6 inches now in places. It is also quite hilly so I’m staying off the roads. It is still snowing. It’s been snowing for over 12 hours now.

        • Latitude says:

          It’s still snowing?……didn’t know that
The forecast was a light sprinkling

        • Mark Luhman says:

I am to assume I would not have any problems on you roads, the ground is not cold enough to make a difference. To the most part you roads are fine. Some who has driven thousand of mile on real icy roads. Welcome to North Dakota, the ice season stars in September and ends in may, most of the winter is to cold for ice to be a real problem, the worst part if it warms up enough and does freeze on the roads that ice will remain there for weeks.

        • cdquarles says:

Sorry for the late reply. I had a power failure with my computer, then the weather knocked out the internet. It kept snowing into the night.

          I don’t doubt that.

I couldn’t sleep last Friday (12/8/2017), and I decided to watch some movies with Christmas themes on TCM. They were:
4:45 AM This Land Is Mine (1943)
6:45 AM Confessions of a Nazi Spy (1939)
    8:45 AM Casablanca (1942)
    10:30 AM Berlin Express (1948)
12:00 PM Mortal Storm, The (1940)
    2:00 PM Hitler’s Children (1943)
3:30 PM Days Of Glory (1944)
    5:00 PM Christmas Carol, A (1951)
    6:45 PM Scrooge (1935)
    (The times are PST)
I just watched the first two, but why in the middle of the Christmas season are they showing pictures with Nazi themes?

cd..I can’t believe this election you guys are having
Who are these republican asswipes that are coming out saying “I just can’t vote for Moore”?
….so they had rather throw the election to some wild eyed flaming liberal

    • cdquarles says:

GOPe types and people who take the media at their word. Indeed, this one is the ugliest election in my memory.

Oh, by the way, there is at least one other crucial element in this that none of the media is talking about. [Hint, this element could get Doug Jones disbarred.]

      • Latitude says:

        well there you go…..
Wasn’t it just a few years ago that Alabama raised the legal age to get married up from 14? The so called children that Moore was abusing….were legal to get married back then. And of course, they dated before they got married
Today’s the election…if there was any ‘credible’ evidence…we would have all seen it by now…this was another hack job

        • cdquarles says:

Yes, though, if I am not mistaken, parents can still emancipate minors for the purpose of marriage.

        • Latitude says:

yes they can….the news is calling Moore a pedophile

        • cdquarles says:

Jones is ahead by about 20,000 votes. There were about 21,000 write-in votes. Absentees have not been counted yet, I think.

Lat, by the way, you picked up on that element. I have an ad that is slanderous. We shall see if Judge Moore goes after these folk legally.

Jones did well in the big counties: Jefferson, Mobile, Madison, Montgomery and Tuscaloosa. He also did well in the ‘Black Belt’, the area is called this because of its rich black soil. [This is Terri Sewell’s district.]

Moore did well in North Alabama (Huntsville excepted) and eastern Alabama. Moore carried Etowah County (100,000 people, approximately), unsurpisingly.

Expect the GOPe and the Dems to use the sexual misconduct October surprise whenever they can.

[They still don’t get why “Big” Luther Strange lost in the primary, by the way. Strange was tainted by his own actions related to former Governor Bentley’s own sexual scandal that cost Bentley his office. The $64,000 question, to me, would be “How would the Ds have used that against Strange?”, inquiring minds want to know.]

        • Latitude says:

The oddest thing about the libs using the pedophile thing…is from what I’ve seen…they are the ones most guilty of it

        • cdquarles says:

          Exactly.

I have spent some time thinking about yesterday’s result and I think that there were similarities to the last election here where a D replaced an R, some 20 years ago. Shelby beat Denton, barely, in a close election. Unfortunately, I don’t recall the specifics of that campaign. I do want to say that there were some sleazy things done then, too.

        • Latitude says:

word press keeps blocking this…..if it posts…just take the spaces out

          https://thehornnews.com/alabama-voter-fr au d-conservatives-furious/

        • cdquarles says:

I saw that. The larger populated counties were where this happened (includes Lee [Auburn]). Absentees, which include military votes, have not been counted yet.

Oh, Shelby’s own actions in this will not be forgotten. He’s been the more left guy for many, many years.

        • cdquarles says:

Oh, lest I forget, locally, the Doug Jones folks spent a ton of money. They called me so many times (always refused) that I wanted to report them for harassment. Jones barely carried the county.

  14. cdquarles says:

Hmm, some digging may be required. She says, in that screen cap, that her sister is Jones’ ex and the divorce was over sexual misconduct.

    • Latitude says:

this is the not so new democrat/liberal playing card….accuse all your opponents of some sort of sexual impropriety
Actually it’s a pretty good one….the more they protest..the more it’s out there…and the more ammunition they give the libs…and the media backs them up 100%

There is a new paper from Svensmark further improving the cosmic ray theory driving Earth’ climate:

    https://wattsupwiththat.com/2017/12/19/new-svensmark-paper-the-missing-link-between-cosmic-rays-clouds-and-climate-on-earth/

“A breakthrough in the understanding of how cosmic rays from supernovae can influence Earth´s cloud cover and thereby climate is published today in the journal Nature Communications. The study reveals how atmospheric ions, produced by the energetic cosmic rays raining down through the atmosphere, helps the growth and formation of cloud condensation nuclei – the seeds necessary for forming clouds in the atmosphere”

Leif says solar activity has been decreasing…while temps have been rising….well duh!
When you look at the “unadjusted” temp history….solar activity is exactly in line with it

      • Lars P. says:

“Leif says solar activity has been decreasing…while temps have been rising….well duh!”

        Speaking of ‘unadjusted’ 😀
Yep, Leif is a supporter of the PMOD composite. There was a controversy several years ago and PMOD won.
ACRIM showed a different reading – both PMOD and ACRIM were reading the same TSI where ACRIM is unadjusted 😉
Here is the site with the original values from where the TSI was composed:
        http://acrim.com/Index.htm
You get there also a link to ACRIM composite and comparison ACRIM versus PMOD.
PMOD made some adjustments to the data in the ACRIM GAP due to satellite positioning and that is why that data shows a decrease.
