Conn Carroll, the communications director for Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT), added via Twitter that he will not be allowing his boss to appear on any ABC News programming until Stephanopoulos recuses himself from all 2016 presidential campaign coverage—not just debates.
“I’m not letting my boss go on @ABC until @GStephanopoulos recuses himself from all 2016 coverage,” Carroll Tweeted.
Well, yes, the heart was in the right place, but, a stupid thing to say. Conn, you just made your boss look like an impotent puppet ….. work on that for a bit, will you? I like Mike Lee.
But, Senator Lee was quick to correct his communications director ….
“I will ultimately make the final decision about each interview request we receive,” Sen. Lee said in a statement. “But I am very concerned about how George’s donations to the Clintons calls into question his journalistic objectivity. You don’t give $75,000 to an organization and then forget to mention it when you interview a person who is questioning that organization. This fact will weigh heavily as I consider future media requests from ABC News.”
Well, yes, Mike, you’ll make the final decision….. but, let me make a suggestion to the conservatives ……. don’t run from Stephie!!!! It’s open season!!!!
First of all, let’s not pretend Cruz, Paul, Lee, and everyone else didn’t already know Stephie is a partisan hack. They knew, they’re just doing exactly what they’re suppose to be doing ….. highlighting this fact!
But, every hard core conservative should line up to interview with Stephie, and every time Stephie asks an idiotic and loaded question, remind the viewers that Stephie is a partisan hack, not only with known ties to leftards, but, an active contributor to their advocacy. In this manner, you not only get to bury Stephie, but, you can bury ABC, as well ….. until they cry for mercy and either end Stephie’s career or change their format. Either way, it’s a win/win. Take the pretense away, and then have an actual debate with Stephie! It’s one of the big three! Clever conservative politicians should be rushing to interview with Stephie!!! Just, always, and for emphasis, I’ll repeat, always remind the viewers he is a partisan hack. It neuters him! Go, Fight, Win!!!!!!!

Seventy five grand to a dodgy foundation is a very large chunk from a private individual. Bear in mind he could have donated to the DNC or something.
Dems are never taken to task so I suspect he will survive this scandal.
