‘C’MON. C’MON’: OBAMA SCOLDS FEMALE REPORTER ASKING ABOUT FOREIGN POLICY
As President Obama toured the White House Science Fair, news broke that he would keep 9,800 troops in Afghanistan after the end of the year even though he signaled that combat operations would end in 2014.
After Obama finished talking to individual students and posing for pictures with the press, White House correspondent for Real Clear Politics Alexis Simendinger asked him a question about breaking news on the White House’s approach to Syria’s civil war as he prepared to exit the room.
“I’m sorry, we’re doing a science fair – c’mon. C’mon.” Obama said irritably as he turned and walked out of the room.
UPDATE: Simendinger’s question referred to the White House’s policy in Syria, not Afghanistan, as this article first stated. According to the pool report: “President Obama declined to respond to a POOL question about reports the US is sending trainers to help rebels in Syria.”
I don’t believe the distinction between Syria and Afghanistan means that much in this context. The point is, after a fluffy photo op was done, Zero was asked a serious question about foreign policy which is certain to effect thousands of American lives. But, he didn’t want to answer that question, so he pouted off to another room. Imagine ….. the very idea that a reporter would want to ask such a question of the president!!!!

troops,military advisors, trainers 😉 , or the location.Interesting because some enquiring 13 year old minds will want to know…
So the US is helping rebels / jihadists in Syria. That’s something that even Bush promised Assad that he would never do.

As it turns out, conservative Americans were correct about where Obama’s sympathies lay.
