A Plug And A Reminder

It’s more of a reminder, but if a plug for a fellow climate warrior comes with it?  So much the better!

1100+ Peer-Reviewed Papers Supporting Skeptic Arguments Against ACC/AGW Alarm

Wow, the list is pretty impressive …It’s Oreskes done right.
– Luboš Motl, Ph.D. Theoretical Physics

…it’s a very useful resource. Thanks to the pop tech team.
– Joanne Nova, Author of The Skeptics Handbook

I do confess a degree of fascination with Poptech’s list…
– John Cook, Skeptical Science

The list has been cited by Scientists (1, 2) and Professors (3)

WARNING: Do not accept any criticisms of this list without first reading the rebuttals or emailing, populartechnology (at) gmail (dot) com

I included that warning for the novice.  This is a wonderful resource, but, needs to be used with understanding….. like anything else.

If you turn climate sceptic and post 1,100 journal articles on your website you too could win a coffee mug not paid for by Big Oil.

  2. Bruce says:

I should say I heartily thank Poptech for providing a resource which is both invaluable and proof that the ‘climate change’ consensus is not unanimous, nor even scientifically supportable.

His writing about SkS and their interesting internal forum is the cherry on top.

  3. HankH says:

Nice resource for answering the alarmists that says “show me one single paper published by a scientist skeptical of CAGW!”

    I’m bookmarking this page 😉

I posted it because I’d run into a couple of pinheads that seemed to believe these didn’t exist. Sometimes, it’s disheartening to go out and about. Same thread had a fellow tell us that Catrina like storms have increased 10 fold since the 1920s.

It shakes my belief in my fellow man.

    • HankH says:

CAGW is dead and some people seem to still buy into fake hockey sticks and bogus statistics rather than looking at the last 16 years of instrument record. Yes, it shakes my belief in my fellow man too.

. . . rather than looking at the last 16 years of instrument record.

What’s interesting is that the instrumented temperature record has been manipulated to show warming, and it still shows a decrease. That’s why these charlatans tried to push the idea that models and proxies were more accurate than thermometers (or their equivalent).

It’s getting harder for them now because everybody is watching them now! Ya See!

        • Me says:

It’s kinda like the internets that Al invented and the free education they all supported way back when and now think everybody is dumb enough to believe their Bull Shit without question, that is comming back to bite them in the arse!

        • suyts says:

Me, I think you nailed it. In the past, everyone simply believed the reported temps, but as more and more people were watching, suddenly the temps quit raising! Strange that.

        • HankH says:

Very true, Jim. There’s only so far you can adjust things before it becomes obvious even to the untrained eye that something’s out of whack. There’s too many different types of instrumental readings that adjusting too far raises suspicion. So now they have to find more crafty ways to adjust.

        • Me says:

And when they control the internet like the LSM it’s done.

    gator knew about this too!

Tip fer the mandoline use an extra light pick till you get used to it.

  6. Bruce says:

Also The Hockey Schtick blog puts up lots of good papers. I bookmark them when I see one which is interesting and useful for arguing with CAGW people. They are exceptional value for this. Well worth a visit. Tom Nelson often links to him.

  7. philjourdan says:

Always good to remind us of the resource.

  8. gator69 says:

I remember when the alarmists used to constantly attack this list, and they always lost. Now they just seem to act like it does not exist, like the Oregon Petition.

    Deniers!
