You’re Wrong Because…… Oh Just Shut Up!!! Germany’s ‘EPA’ Publishes A Black List…… Gets Push Back

A few days ago NTZ wrote about a recently published brochure released by the Umweltbundesamt (UBA), which is Germany’s version of the EPA.

The notorious brochure not only included an alarmist summary of climate science today, but also contained a sort of “black list” of US and German skeptics, portraying them as “spreaders of half-truths and misinformation”.

In that article I expressed doubts about this brochure holding up legally, and said we likely have not heard the last of this story. Boy was I right! Hat-tip Bernd Felsche.

Henryk Broder sees parallels with dark regimes

For starters, yesterday, flagship national daily Die Welt, one of the targets of the UBA brochure, published a commentary written by veteran, renowned journalist Henryk Broder. The title: A government agency declares the climate debate ended.

What follows are some of Broder’s comments on the notorious witch-hunting UBA brochure:

The UBA Environmental Agency claims to have the power of authority when it comes to climate change and has put some journalists on the pillory in the debate. Such an approach reminds us of the Reichskulturkammer and the East German regime.”

The rest of the post goes on to document Broder’s response to the UBA.  It’s a good read.  It is unknown if Suyts Space made the list or not. 

This, of course, isn’t unique to Germany, they just employ mechanisms to silence debate a bit, but not much, differently. 

Warmists, in practice, state their opinions, provide very flimsy evidence to back their claims and then declare the debate over.  Anyone objecting to the flimsy and erroneous claims are called anti-science and spreaders of half truths and lies. 

But, that’s the tell.  No one ever points out the lies!  No one ever exposes the half truths!  They simply assert that there are and the debate is over. 

So now Germany has a black list of people and organizations they wish to silence and marginalize.  And they even included some Americans.  Good luck with that.  Warmists can’t debate with skeptics because they’ll lose…. always.  This is what happens when all of the ad homs, strawmen, and character assassination fails.  

So what can we expect soon?  After the heavy handed government attempts fail.  They’ll be reduced to, and in many cases are now, this……
