It’s Over!!!!!!!

Bye, Felicia!!!!!

The worst presidency in the history of the United States is officially over, and done!!!!

The American people persevered.  Thank God.  I don’t know how else it could have been done without Divine intervention.

I know not what the future holds for the American people.  But, I believe if the promises are true, it’s a bright and prosperous future!  But, not just and only for the American people, but, for the people worldwide.

After reading Trump’s speech, I was amazed at many of the points he touched on which echoed many of mine.  I don’t know who his speech writer was, but, he nailed it.

Left alone, most generally, the people win.  They make themselves prosperous and continually work towards happiness.  That’s what the people, plebs, do.  Constrain the bad actors and the people will get themselves in the right place.

Reading Trump’s speech, that’s what I heard …….

TRUMP:

Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, fellow Americans and people of the world, thank you.

We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and restore its promise for all of our people.

Together, we will determine the course of America and the world for many, many years to come. We will face challenges, we will confront hardships, but we will get the job done.

Every four years, we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly and peaceful transfer of power, and we are grateful to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid throughout this transition. They have been magnificent. Thank you.

Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning because today, we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the people.

For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs. And while they celebrated in our nation’s capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.

That all changes starting right here and right now because this moment is your moment, it belongs to you.

It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America. This is your day. This is your celebration. And this, the United States of America, is your country.

What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people.

January 20th, 2017 will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again.

The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.

Everyone is listening to you now. You came by the tens of millions to become part of a historic movement, the likes of which the world has never seen before.

At the center of this movement is a crucial conviction, that a nation exists to serve its citizens. Americans want great schools for their children, safe neighborhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves. These are just and reasonable demands of righteous people and a righteous public.

But for too many of our citizens, a different reality exists: mothers and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities; rusted out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation; an education system flush with cash, but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of all knowledge; and the crime and the gangs and the drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed our country of so much unrealized potential.

This American carnage stops right here and stops right now.

We are one nation and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams. And their success will be our success. We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny. The oath of office I take today is an oath of allegiance to all Americans.

For many decades, we’ve enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry; subsidized the armies of other countries, while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military. We’ve defended other nations’ borders while refusing to defend our own.

And spent trillions and trillions of dollars overseas while America’s infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay. We’ve made other countries rich, while the wealth, strength and confidence of our country has dissipated over the horizon.

One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores, with not even a thought about the millions and millions of American workers that were left behind. The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed all across the world.

But that is the past. And now, we are looking only to the future.

We assembled here today are issuing a new decree to be heard in every city, in every foreign capital, and in every hall of power. From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land. From this day forward, it’s going to be only America first, America first.

Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs will be made to benefit American workers and American families. We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies and destroying our jobs.

Protection will lead to great prosperity and strength. I will fight for you with every breath in my body and I will never ever let you down.

America will start winning again, winning like never before.

We will bring back our jobs. We will bring back our borders. We will bring back our wealth. And we will bring back our dreams.

We will build new roads and highways and bridges and airports and tunnels and railways all across our wonderful nation. We will get our people off of welfare and back to work, rebuilding our country with American hands and American labor.

We will follow two simple rules; buy American and hire American.

We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world, but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first. We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example. We will shine for everyone to follow.

We will reinforce old alliances and form new ones and unite the civilized world against radical Islamic terrorism, which we will eradicate from the face of the Earth.

At the bedrock of our politics will be a total allegiance to the United States of America, and through our loyalty to our country, we will rediscover our loyalty to each other. When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice.

The Bible tells us how good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity. We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity. When America is united, America is totally unstoppable.

There should be no fear. We are protected and we will always be protected. We will be protected by the great men and women of our military and law enforcement. And most importantly, we will be protected by God.

Finally, we must think big and dream even bigger. In America, we understand that a nation is only living as long as it is striving. We will no longer accept politicians who are all talk and no action, constantly complaining, but never doing anything about it.

The time for empty talk is over. Now arrives the hour of action.

Do not allow anyone to tell you that it cannot be done. No challenge can match the heart and fight and spirit of America. We will not fail. Our country will thrive and prosper again.

We stand at the birth of a new millennium, ready to unlock the mysteries of space, to free the earth from the miseries of disease, and to harness the energies, industries and technologies of tomorrow. A new national pride will stir ourselves, lift our sights and heal our divisions.

It’s time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget, that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots.

We all enjoy the same glorious freedoms and we all salute the same great American flag.

And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the wind-swept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky, they will their heart with the same dreams, and they are infused with the breath of life by the same almighty creator.

So to all Americans in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, from ocean to ocean, hear these words: You will never be ignored again.

Your voice, your hopes, and your dreams will define our American destiny. And your courage and goodness and love will forever guide us along the way.

Together, we will make America strong again. We will make America wealthy again. We will make America proud again. We will make America safe again. And yes, together we will make America great again.

Thank you. God bless you. And God bless America.

Thank you.

God bless America.

I have two fav paragraphs from this speech, here’s the first ….

At the center of this movement is a crucial conviction, that a nation exists to serve its citizens. Americans want great schools for their children, safe neighborhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves. These are just and reasonable demands of righteous people and a righteous public.

And, secondly ….

We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world, but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first. We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example. We will shine for everyone to follow.

Trump did also state,

There should be no fear. We are protected and we will always be protected. We will be protected by the great men and women of our military and law enforcement. And most importantly, we will be protected by God.

We are, and have been since the birth of this nation.  But, God will not protect a faithless nation very long.  The lessons in the Bible make this very clear.

Still, it is my prayer that God bless the United States, and God bless our president, he’ll need it.

Well,of course it is, But it took a Country to make it happen, unlike what they were saying that it takes a Village!

  2. Latitude says:

    I”m still kinda awestruck….

Trump didn’t have to just beat Hillary…

He had to beat all the democrats and liberals, most of the republicans, all the news media and hollywood and music industry, most of the other countries in the world including the EU, Soros, Koch…

and they were all pulling every trick they could

Can people really comprehend how close to the edge we really were?…Hillary and the democrats would have destroyed this country

    • Me says:

Exactly, they were playing everything they had, except war!

      • Me says:

And they couldn’t play that, because Trump already said he wanted to work with the other nuclear power and not China that nuclear power!

        • Me says:

So when are all these congress critters going to get rid of all their wall street stocks same as the sennate? Ya know beforethey claim Trump is in conbflict of intress? And then how many degrees of separation does that go??? LMAO!

        • Me says:

And don’t think for a minute that the same doesn’t happen here, you all have access to the rebel media!, and can look it up! 😆

        • suyts says:

It seems every senator leaves congress as a multi-millionaire……. odd.

        • cdquarles says:

James, it isn’t odd. Congress has long had the ability to trade on their knowledge and power. For the rest of us, this is a felony. I believe their ability to do this was curbed somewhat, but not enough. Criminalizing commerce always results in organized crime syndicates and the attendant black markets and bribery. Given the First Amendment right to peaceably assemble and petition the Government for the redress of grievances, it should not surprise you that those who can stretch the law can help you and your friends and harm your competitors and your enemies.

    • suyts says:

Lat, most of the people I know who voted for Trump, voted because they couldn’t imagine another 8 years like the last. It wasn’t that they were “on fire” for Trump, but, they just wanted it to stop. They voted Trump because they were tired of it all. Not just tired, worn out. Mad. Sick of it.

The only thing I can say is that he’d better deliver, or, we’re screwed.

      • Me says:

We have been screwed for a long time, Trump has the balls and the doesn’t like to be proven wrong so he is the best pick ever, you don’t realise it yet, you are so fortunate to have someone like that to do what he says!

        • Me says:

James, I have never lied here, and don’t intend to! You gave Me my say and I had my say and wether it was against your religion or not. Point was it was against religion, but not that you can’t practice what you preach, but more of don’t force it on Me. And if there are religions out there forceing their say on others, why are agnostics the enemy or atheist? And yeah I know Stephon Molyneyx suddenly found religion, But that is his thing. I know where he is going with that. Sad!

        • Me says:

          Guess, that what it is!

        • Me says:

And if you are for freedom, you don’t bow to anyone! You stand tall!

        • Me says:

And the funny thing is, Yeah I know about it, I don’t trust it, but yet here I am for some reason??? I said I was agnostic, not a sucker and not a non believer. Now I am very doubtful that anything you say would make me a believer, not un-like that other guy.

        • Me says:

My take on it is he saw the other guys going full leftard and that diddy not his agenda and the magority of them going full leftard he thought he was alone! Where I like being in that zone and thought he was in it too! So I guess he caved, doesn’t practice what he thinks anymore!

        • Me says:

And in all honesty, you all think that someone got off jiustice that they will eventually get theirs in the after life???? Hell is here in earth, we make it what it is, after these people die, that is it they are gone, done, over with, nevertobe heard of again, unless they made a name for themselves, created a legacy that is celibrated, then they live on forever! That is reality!

        • DirkH says:

That is all fine and well, Me, but, materialist world view cannot explain consciousness AT ALL.
2nd), there is evidence for reincarnation
          https://dirkhblog.wordpress.com/2017/01/20/evidence-for-reincarnation/
2rd), the Old Testament is at least partially bogus / a rewrite of stolen goods
          https://dirkhblog.wordpress.com/2017/01/21/old-testament-made-up/
BUT, the myths the writers stole from Egypt and Babylon (let alone the Aryan civilisation of India/Tibet and their creation myths, see Hinduist cosmology with its detailed distance estimates that seem to describe the Milky Way) still stand in the way of atheism.

Also, the universe must have a beginning, therefore a creator. It cannot be eternal otherwise entropy would already have maxed out (2nd law of thermodynamics)

        • cdquarles says:

That’s it, Me, both agnosticism and atheism are religions, too. We, who are aware of that want you to ask your self the proper questions and convince yourself that you need to change the foundation of your faith. There is only one religion that I know of that addresses this directly. Look up the apostle that said this, paraphrased: “If the tenets of my faith are false, my faith is vain.” and think long and hard about it. Even pray that He That IS, the I AM THAT I AM, gives you what you need.

Existence exists. Existence needs no cause. Existence is the infinity of infinities, whole, good, living, gracious, merciful, and is the Father of All that was turned from a potential to an actuality, knowing Good and Evil.

        • Me says:

Bwaaahahaha! yeah! Bwaaaahahaha, that is the two dummest things I have ever heard!

          <<

It always intrigues me that people say the Universe must have a beginning, but the Creator doesn’t. Wouldn’t the entropy of an eternal creator have maxed out by now, or is He above the law? And if the Creator doesn’t need a beginning, then why does the Universe?

Also, I noticed you’re applying the 2nd law to the entire Universe. I thought you didn’t believe in relativity, and that our laws and theories of physics aren’t invariant with respect to location–which is what relativity is.

          Jim
          .

        • DirkH says:

Okay Jim, I was too careless so let me rephrase. If we take the assumptions of current materialist, relativistic scientific world view, there must have been a beginning because otherwise, entropy must have maxed out.

So, I must first assume the simple relativist Parmenides-Einstein-Blocktime worldview as valid to show creation as necessary consequence.

Side note, I don’t think existence in such a world is even possible because all higher life forms mutate much too fast to even persist as species without magical interference. We need non-local new physics here to explain our ongoing existence, Such non local new physics can also be called the paranormal.

Side note two, the Einstein solutions were shown to allow impossible worlds by godly prankster Gödel with his Gödel Metric that he gave Einstein as a birthday gift.

As to whether entropy in the creator should have maxed out by now, I don’t think consciousness is bound by the Laws Of Thermodynamics; the act of creation itself and the “maintenance” acts I see as necessary contravene thermodynamics on our plane of existence.

Also, LOGIC is not bound by the Laws Of Thermodynamics, neither is MATHEMATICS. The pure consciousness exists somewhere ABOVE those planes. (The aforementioned Gödel has also shown, in another prank, that simple axiomatic systems, of which logic is one, are not complete and uncontradictory at the same time. So they’re not sufficient for a perfect existence. We could of course assume an imperfect creator but things don’t seem to point in that direction.)

If we take the assumptions . . . otherwise, entropy must have maxed out.
          <<

          Okay.

          >>
So, I must first assume . . . to show creation as necessary consequence.
          <<

Why? Is there some Fred Hoyle doppelganger trying to oppose the BB consensus?

          >>
Side note, I don’t think existence in such a world is even possible because all higher life forms mutate much too fast to even persist as species without magical interference.
          <<

I thought the argument was that mutations were too slow to explain higher life forms. Also, how long have nautiluses existed in their present form? 500 million years? All magic, I guess.

          >>
. . . the Einstein solutions were shown to allow impossible worlds by godly prankster Gödel with his Gödel Metric . . . .
          <<

So? Lots of math equations give multiple solutions where some are invalid. Gödel’s solution required a rotating universe–which is not observed.

          >>
          . . . I don’t think consciousness is bound by the Laws Of Thermodynamics . . . .
          <<

Entropy is often described as the “arrow of time.” If you drop an egg from shoulder height into a bowl on the floor it will most likely break–thus increasing entropy. The self-assembling of the egg and it rising up to your shoulder is not likely. It would be what you’d see if a video of the event was reversed. This reduction in entropy is not possible. So does consciousness violate the arrow of time? I haven’t seen any indication of such. Of course, the Creator’s consciousness would supposedly exist outside of space-time, and such a question wouldn’t have meaning. Even so, most (if not all) laws of physics ARE time reversible.

          >>
Also, LOGIC is not bound by the Laws Of Thermodynamics, blah, blah, blah.
          <<

          Busy man Gödel.

          Jim

        • DirkH says:

Well Jim this is getting tiresome, so two more hints and that will be that.
1.) Assuming the orthodox view of a Einstein-relativistic universe with universal 2nd law of thermodynamics, we can show that it must have a beginning and that it cannot be eternal. And that’s that argument.

2.) I never said that there’s too few mutations to enable macro evolution. Never ever. Not in my entire life. Whether you have few or many mutations you just cannot cross the potential wall to suddenly (and they appear SUDDENLY in the fossil record) appearing whole new complex subsystems.
BUT if you have too many mutations, in the case of humans, 200 new mutations appearing in every child, natural selection would have to kill nearly ALL the offspring just to maintain a stable genome, we are not even talking about any improvement at that point.

So a process of constant creation seems to happen; otherwise complex lifeforms would all have perished long ago. That’s the situation at the moment, bar any new ideas from geneticists for why this could possibly work.

        • DirkH says:

Jim, another thing, regarding Goedel vs. Einstein. You say, ok, so he found a contradictory solution so what. Here’s why it is important.
Traditionally, i.e. before Einstein and the pure formula driven theoretical physics, physicists used formulas to describe phenomena they observed, to get useful abstractions. The post-Einstein branch of theoretical physicists extrapolates from the formulas thusly gained into whole world models. Black Holes, Dark Matter etc. are unobserved figments of that. And that’s why it is TOTALLY relevant for this branch of theoretical physicists when someone can show an absurd consequence of the prevailing theory. It is entirely IRRELEVANT for experimental physics but that is not what they’re doing.

        • >>

          <<

So the fact that nearly all of physics is time-reversible and the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics prohibits time-reversals, then by your logic we should throw out nearly all of physics.

          Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Heh, there are all these articles about how humans exterminated megafauna on all continents.
On the other side bison in NA survived (until modern men came), horses, camels, buffalo, same for elephants, and the respective felines, lions and tigers. So why the other not?

So I am wondering if (oh the irony!) these extinctions could have been caused by low CO2?

We do have during the ice ages low CO2 – it goes regularly low, if we are to believe the ice cores data
    – C3 Plants are starving at CO2 around 180 ppm
    – CO2 does not get lower due to negative feedback – C3 plants starving, consume decrease significantly
    – Megafauna (that went extinct) was feeding probably on C3 plants (forbs)
    – Magafauna that survived was feeding on grasses (C4 plants)
Stumbled upon it at WUWT here:

In the Australia case there is a particular low point in CO2 for 42 k Years ago.
