Well, the season is getting close to being done, but, I still don’t know about all of the teams. There are some good match-ups to add clarity this week.
(7-6-0) Titans
(10-3-0) Chiefs I’m going with the Chiefs on this one. It may not be as safe as you might think. They lost their outstanding MLB for the season. The Titans have Murray geared up and ready to go. Still, it’s at KC. The cold may become an issue.
(8-5-0) Steelers Well, we saw how Bell liked to run in the snow, how is he in the bitter cold? I’m picking the Steelers, but, this rivalry should make for a very good game.
(5-7-1) Bengals
(9-4-0) Lions
(9-4-0) Giants This is a great matchup with playoff implications. The Giants are playing pretty good and the Lions are only average on the road. Pick the Giants in this one.
(6-7-0) Colts
(7-6-0) Vikings Well, I don’t know about this one. The Vikings faded fast after a good start. But, they’ve added a couple of wins recently. They’re at home. Both teams are on the outside of a playoff spot and a win will go a long way. A loss for either will probably end their season. Vikes ….. maybe.
(2-11-0) Jaguars
(7-6-0) Texans The Texans pretty much get a bye this week as the make a run for the division title.
(7-6-0) Packers Well, the Pack isn’t all that great this year. But, they’re not as bad as the Bears.
(3-10-0) Bears
(0-13-0) Browns
(6-7-0) Bills The Bills will get a much needed win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
(5-8-0) Eagles
(7-6-0) Ravens The Raven defense will be too much for the Eagles as the Ravens make their playoff run.
(1-12-0) 49ers
(8-5-0) Falcons The should be entertaining.
(5-8-0) Saints
(5-7-1) Cardinals A game of could have beens. Both teams have a good amount of talent. Both teams have horribly underperformed this year. IDK, Cards, maybe.
(10-3-0) Raiders Look for a lot of points in this game, as neither team has a very good defense. But, the Raiders should take this one.
(5-8-0) Chargers
(11-2-0) Patriots This game probably won’t be as lob-sided as one may imagine. Their playing at Mile High. But, the Broncs just don’t have the QB to keep pace with Brady.
(8-5-0) Broncos
(8-5-0) Buccaneers
(11-2-0) Cowboys This is the game that most people will be interested in. How will Prescott respond to the loss last week, or his overall poor play in the last few games? The Buccs come into the game with a formidable defense. I’m picking the ‘Boys, but, they’ve got something to prove in this game. Will they?
(5-8-0) Panthers
(7-5-1) Redskins The Redskins are still in the running for a post-season spot. A win will go a long way towards that effort.
(9-4-1) Seahawks 24 The Seahawks took care of business in a yawner Thursday.
(9-5-0) Dolphins 34 A long time backup QB for Miami (Moore) showed he could play in the NFL. Sure, it was just the Jets, but, it was a good game for Moore.
Well, those are my picks, what do you think?

Not bad. most of the ones you lost were the IDKs. But no big surprises either, except how close some of the games were.
Step 2 accomplished for the Raiders! Can they get to Step 3 this year? Only if they win out.
At Denver may be a test. I thought the play calling at the end of the last game was suspect. They gave a chance when they didn’t need to.
Raiders usually play well in Denver (and did ok in Mexico City which is higher). This week is the Colts at home, and the Raiders are not playing well there. But one game a week. That is the key. If the Raiders do make it to the championship (conference), I am going to have the patriots fan pick all my games next year!
FYI – @ppell is threatening to sue Joanne Nova over his activities 3+ years ago here (I referred to them and then linked to your article). I doubt he will. He is more bluster than action. But I wanted to give you a heads up, and wanted to know if I could pass along your contact information should she need to contact you.

What was the issue?
I warned Joanne to be careful, or Appell would stalk her and threaten her children. He got upset (poor little snowflake) and then demanded the comment be removed or he would sue. For what? Definition of character? LOL

The problem is, I don’t, and never have lived in Topeka. I’ve never written that I lived in Topeka. David posted names, addresses, and phone numbers of James Sexton throughout Kansas including the ones living in Topeka —- people which have no association nor knowledge of me.
I’m thinking of suing, myself, or, finding the people harmed and showing them where to sue, and who to sue.

However, he lies even in “victory”. The “concession” (if you followed the Jo Nova links on his page) did show she had removed the comments (including my explanation – which is fine), but also left a note that he “agreed” not to post on her site any more! The mods were having fits with his whining and squirrel bait and were not happy about his off topic posts, so his agreeing to leave her site is a welcome move for them.
I wonder if I can get him banned from other sites as well? Might be better than suing him. Just goad him on and then let him hang himself! LOL

Phil, let me know if he babbles about Suyts, anymore, or anyone associated here, including you. He did cyber-stalk, we all witnessed it. I’ll let what I’ve seen, so far, pass ….. except I’ll make a post with a h/t to Appell, but, if he slanders any of us again, I’ll make it a point.
I visit Jo Nova’s site regularly (I like getting the upside down perspective), and he just (within the past year) started harassing her. I have seen him on the DisQus forums a lot, but there is no “there there”, so there is no one he can whine to when I link to his stalking activities.
But he has generally banned himself from every site I know of with the possible exception of Judith Curry. Although I have not seen him there recently (due to the volume, I only post on that site once a month or so). If I see him on any of those sites, I will make sure to let him know I am still watching him. And that the internet is forever (he wants to think that it was 3 years ago, so no one can find it )
I’ll check ……
