Week 8 NFL Picks!!!!!

Well, I did a horrible job of picking last week, but, things are clearing up.

  (4-3-0)  Redskins

(3-4-0)  Bengals The Bengals are coming off an easy win against the Browns.  This will be a tougher game, but, they are at home and the Redskins are playing mediocre ball.  This is a great test for both teams.  The loser of this one will have a hard hill to climb to make it to the playoffs.

(4-2-0)  Chiefs  KC is rolling right now.  I think they’ll continue to do so.  KC gets the nod in this one because they have two things the Colts don’t ……  a running game and a defense.

(3-4-0) Colts

(3-3-1) Cardinals  I really don’t know what happened to the Panthers, and I don’t care.  The Cards were hurt more by the tie than Seattle.  They desperately need a W to remain competitive, the Panthers seem obliged to give their opponents Ws.

(1-5-0) Panthers

(5-2-0) Raiders  This game will be more competitive than many people may think.  The Buccs have found a ground attack with Rodgers.  If Oakland was smart they’d start feeding the ball to Murray.  In the end, though, the Raiders have too many weapons for the Buccs to defend against.

(3-3-0) Buccaneers

(4-1-1) Seahawks  This will be an interesting game.  Despite their record, the Saints have a potent offense.  The Seahawks offense doesn’t ……. well, it just doesn’t.  I’m picking the Hawks, but ……….

(2-4-0) Saints

(4-3-0) Lions

(4-3-0) Texans The Lions are typically a pretty bad team on the road, today will re-affirm this notion.

(6-1-0) Patriots  Can anyone stop the Pats?  They’ll be tested today against a tough Bills defense, but, I’m still going with Brady and company.

(4-3-0) Bills

(2-5-0) Jets  Well, I hate this pick.  I think the Browns are ready for their first win of the season, but, they’re 0-7, so I’m picking the Jets.

(0-7-0) Browns

(3-4-0) Chargers

(5-2-0) Broncos I almost never pick against a decent Bronco team at home.  Today is no different.

(4-2-0) Packers

(4-3-0) Falcons I look for this game to have a lot of scoring.  The Pack is a little less this year and Jones and Ryan have been on fire.  I’m picking the Falcons.

(4-2-0) Eagles

(5-1-0) Cowboys Game of the Week!!!!!!  This is a huge game for many different reasons.  Two rookie phenom QBs facing each other.  The difference is Wentz doesn’t have a Tony Romo waiting in the wings.  If the Eagles win, look for Romo to be activated and start the next week.  But, I don’t think the Eagles will win.  Not because of the QBs, but, rather, the RB, Elliot.  The Eagles don’t have one of those, either.

(5-1-0) Vikings  The Vikings will get back on track after their first loss last week.  The hapless Bears are a terrible team this year.

(1-6-0) Bears

 (2-5-0) Jaguars 22

(4-4-0) Titans 36  The game wasn’t even as close as the score indicates.  The Titans dominated and the Jags only became effective when the Titans pulled many of their starters.

Those are my picks for this week, what do you think?

    ok….whatthasamhell is this

Poll: Donald Trump +4 in Florida; Jumps 19 Points Among Cubans

Today’s poll shows a dramatic shift. Trump now leads Clinton among Cubans by ten points — 52 percent vs. 42 percent for Clinton.

These poll people just honestly do not get it…..no sane person is going to tip their hand until the last minute….there are crazy liberals out there that will kill you

Another week, another tie. Ties were a regular occurrence back in the early days. But now? That is some poor football to get to a tie. I thought it might be 2 this week! But the last play of the Raiders game assured us there would not be.

Top general suicided in July, reported only now. No apparent reason for suicide but “responsibility”.
“Rossi, who was 55, was just two days from pinning on his third star and taking command of Army Space and Missile Command when he killed himself at his home at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama. ‘”

Sure, he killed himself because he dreaded being promoted. Don’t we all kill ourselves when we are threatened with that.

Yeh, I thought the same thing.

Hmm. I did a search of the Huntsville Times. [I lived in Huntsville for a year and my Navy Man son is a graduate of UAH.] What I find odd is that the report is of the cause of death. Why did it take this long? Why was there no contemporaneous report locally? Comments at AL.com indicate that there was a local news report of the death back in July. Hmm.

    Best election ever!

A ZH contributor speculates that factions in the Deep State are now taking down Clinton.

“These blast points on Hillary’s campaign… too accurate for the Mainstream Media. Only the forces of the Imperial Deep State are so precise.”

Steve Pieczenik has announced exactly that months ago.
I speculated that Trumps “America First” hints at him being in an alliance with the America Firster Generals (which have been purged by Obama where he could find them – but if security forces are good at one thing it is at secrecy. So he can’t have gotten them all.)

They now come out in full force: Too late for the DNC to fall back to an untainted candidate.

    • DirkH says:

The leakers were then some of their people, probably installed in the DNC apparatus on purpose. Moles.

    • Latitude says:

Dirk…to state the obvious…..the emails were on Weiner’s computer…and he doesn’t have a security clearance
One classified email…and boom, party’s over

      • DirkH says:

I’m talking about the various previous leaks that have befallen the DNC and Podesta.

      • DirkH says:

And your’re right about Weiner’s computer. And Huma Abedin, “I Know Nothing!” Oi! That’s it for her.

      • suyts says:

Lat, I’m still concerned about the DOJs willingness to go forward.

        • Latitude says:

That’s going to be where they butt heads…
I think the FBI is going to present such a case….as publicly as they can…and fry the DOJ if they try to block it…
The FBI can still take it to court…

Either way. Comey has opened the can of worms now…and there’s no going back
…he’s having to deal with a riot situation…

My best guess is, when the agents opened the Weiner mail….they went to him with someone so big, he knew he could get away with opening it back up

Bottom line, like I told Dirk…..one classified email on Weiner’s computer and it’s over

        • philjourdan says:

If trump wins, they do not have to go public. It will be prosecuted if she is not pardoned. That may be why Comey came out again. He saw something in the polls that indicated Trump was going to win. Coming out before that is a fact means that it does not look like a “retribution” prosecution.

      • philjourdan says:

Lat – Legally that is the way it is supposed to be. Reality is that it is going to take a lot more.

  7. Latitude says:

‘We are losing control of the streets’ Merkel’s Germany descends into lawlessness

During the first six months of 2016, migrants committed 142,500 crimes, according to the Federal Criminal Police Office.

And the country has been hit by a spate of horrendous violent crime including rapes, sexual and physical assaults, stabbings, home invasions, robberies, burglaries and drug trafficking.

Adding to the country’s woes is the fact that thousands of people have gone missing after travelling to the country on invitation from the country’s leader.

  8. DirkH says:

As to hacking the Sunni-Clinton mafia… Huma Abedin used her REAL NAME as username in her YAHOO E-MAIL ACCOUNT. ALL OF WHICH – 500 million – WERE HACKED (by syphoning off all the account data right at yahoo). So what do ya do when you have to sift through 500 million entries? Well let’s just scan for top US politician names.

Women and tech. This reminds me of

    • DirkH says:

Oh man, and in the first video, – Loretta Lynch pleads the 5th in order to avoid having the DOJ having to prosecute its own boss – her. That’s epic.
