    A bittersweet song with commentary:

What idiot captain of a container ship would knowingly leave a safe haven port (in this case, Jacksonville, FL), and navigate directly into a hurricane in order to deliver stolen American motor vehicles pirated in cargo boxes to any third-world county? Under “orders,” I suppose?

Twenty eight American men’s lives have either been lost, or are now presumed dead, with our Coast Guard and Navy expending American’s resources to locate a modern-day pirate ship, or at the least, its flotsam.

At least the men on the Edmund Fitzgerald lost their lives doing something noble–trying to keep America up-and-running, instead of stealing from it and delivering its resources to lazy, jealous third-worlders.

My bad. The latest report states that there were 27 American men on board, not twenty-eight. The twenty-eighth American on board might have made a better choice in life by staying home and baking cookies with Hillary.

Hopefully, this open thread is still open. Just found this over at American Digest, and it’s too good not to share!
