Well, it’s not a note to Walker, but, rather, a statement to the readers. I hope Walker does read Suyts. But, if he did, he’d know I don’t like an ever “evolving” stance on one thing or another.
Look, it’s not hard to say, I haven’t thought about that much, I’ll think about it and get back to you. I would respect that a lot more than the bs he’s pulled of late.
The most recent, of course, is the Canadian wall issue. He got played, and played well.
One of the reasons why we should secure our border is because of the lunatic terrorist bastards. They are here and they are coming. The Canadian border isn’t near the problem as the border to our south, but, it very well could be. It isn’t that Canadians are illegally immigrating here, the problem is Canada suffers from the same illness nearly all Western nations suffer from. Our leaders think we need immigrants. Canada seems to be as every bit selective as the US. This is a huge potential problem. It’s not that hard to articulate, and I deem it a necessary component of the “secured border” argument. But, Walker ran from it. And, he seems to be pretty malleable on many other issues such as ethanol and abortion.
One of the things which endears me to Walker is that he’s a fighter and a winner! He’s proven this! It has never been for me that anyone must 100% agree with my views. And, I’ve held the same view with our politicians. I don’t really have a litmus test, but, rather consider the positives and negatives and make my decision from there. I do have one factor which I regard heavily. People who have no conviction of thought are deemed pretty low in my book. I understand evolving thought, but, it’s much better not to say something one day, only to have to backtrack the next.
In other words, Gov. Walker, grow a pair. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Regardless of your stance, you’ll have to fight for it. I’ve seen you fight and I’ve seen you win. You either do it, and do it now, or get out of the way. A fighter with no convictions is a mercenary, and I don’t have enough money to keep you in line. You won’t get my support if you don’t start drawing lines to define you. I’ve had enough of the weak hearted Repubs, and so has much of the electorate you’re trying to woo. You’re like Mike Tyson trying to play rope-a-dope! You can’t.
