Asshats Forget Who Butters Their Bread!!!! C&W Singers To Support Gun-Grabbers!!!!

On July 17, country singers Tim McGraw and Billy Currington will headline a fundraiser for gun control group Sandy Hook Promise in Connecticut.

Sandy Hook Promise was founded after Adam Lanza stole various firearms then carried out a heinous attack on Sandy Hook Elementary.

NBC Connecticut quoted McGraw as saying:

Out of this tragedy a group was formed that made a promise to honor the lives lost and turn it into a moment of transformation. Sandy Hook Promise teaches that we can do something to protect our children from gun violence. I want to be a part of that promise – as a father and as a friend.

McGraw’s “A Concert For Sandy Hook Promise” will also feature country singers Billy Currington and Chase Bryant. ….

You can read more at the link.

Tim, Billy, and Chase ….. go have fornication with yourself.  You’re yesterday’s news, with your generic pop rock with a twang bs, anyway.

From the linked article ….

It should be noted that there was 100 percent gun control at Sandy Hook Elementary on December 14, 2012. No guns were allowed, period. You can’t have more gun [sic] control than that. Moreover, there were laws against stealing guns and possessing stolen guns as well. But none of these laws stopped or even dissuaded Adam Lanza.

Gun control renders law-abiding citizens defenseless, but it does nothing to stop criminals from carrying out their treachery. Because of this, the money McGraw and Currington raise will ultimately succeed in making it harder for law-abiding citizens to acquire and carry the guns they need for self-defense.

Going to go listen to some red dirt.

Thankfully not a big fan of either, so they can just go away, and likely will if they keep this up. I hear Lady Gagme is looking for a p****s, maybe one of them has the equipment to help her out, maybe…

Another case of not knowing WHO is the sponsor? Or what they stand for?

I used to give to a “popular” Womens’ Cancer Organization… UNTIL I researched… AND found that THEY gave to Planned Parenthood.

My father died of lung cancer (agent orange exposure), and I used to give to the American Lung Association, until they started claiming CO2 was a pollutant. Now I feed hungry kids and support veterans.

Yeah! I’m VERY careful about where I donate, anymore…

PP used to try to say contributions were separate… but contributions / money is fungle? [ meaning fluid ].

Go here to find the best bang for your buck. They have detailed anaysis of each charity, and rate them based upon efficacy and stewardship.

          Thanks for the link 🙂

What is that economic term I’m looking for? Fungle????

        • cdquarles says:

Kim, you’re looking for fungible. In economics, a fungible good is indistinguishable. In other words, money is money and each form is equivalent. So, if PP gets money from source A and says that it is separated from account B, that’s a lie because getting money from source A allows account B to be used to a greater extent, because source A covers things enough to reduce the need to spend on those items from account B. The same lie was told about Social Security and its ‘trust fund’. That fund is a paper accounting entry. The money goes in from the various sources and it comes out. The more money going into SSA means that other tax monies can be spent with the ‘surplus’ covering it up.

I used to subscribe to Skeptical Inquirer a few years ago. I stopped when they started spouting off nonsense about global warming. They obviously weren’t very skeptical when it comes to the fraud of AGW. I received a subscription request from them yesterday (it’s interesting that they found my new address). Three endorsements appear at the top of the page. They are:

“Skeptical Inquirer exposes pseudoscience, and nurtures critical thinking. That’s why I look forward to every issue. By advancing science literacy, we can improve everyone’s quality of life. With people everywhere thinking critically and embracing a skeptical point of view, together we can change the world.” –Bill Nye “The Science Guy”

“When so many of our fellow citizens are igniting brushfires of irrationality and then fanning the flames, Skeptical Inquirer is a great fire extinguisher to keep handy: trustworthy, effective, and a pleasure to read. Don’t leave home without one!” –Daniel Dennett

“If only the Skeptical Inquirer could be distributed to every home in the land! There would be fewer idiotic dinner-party conversations about ghosts, crop circles and ‘uncanny’ coincidences. More importantly, people might learn by example how to think for themselves, to the enormous benefit of the world:’ –Richard Dawkins

So Bill Nye believes in the skeptical points of view–except when it comes to global warming. The same is probably true of the other two guys.

    • gator69 says:

SI is a joke. Look at the fouders and you find out of work magicians and AGW proponents. It is the “National Inquirer” of skepticism.

    • kim2ooo says:

      Hijacking the word “skeptical”.

Bill Nye is in 100% agreement with SI/Randi, who is a defender of all orthodox viewpoints. SI should better be called Orthodox Inquisitor.
