A Simple Request To Conservative Lawmakers …… Think!!!! MULVANEY Pissing Me Off

So, here’s a guy, who, by all reports, is a good conservative congressional representative.  He votes like I’d like our congress critters to vote nearly all the time.  But, with one idiotic utterance, I’m precluded from ever supporting him.  He’s not one of my congressmen, so, I’m certain he doesn’t care.  But, I’m not the only one who thinks this way, so, he needs to pay attention.  As far as I’m concerned, his idiotic utterance means that if someone would run against him, I’d actively support his opponent, and would offer my services for free, in any capacity his opponent would wish.

What did he have to say which put me in such a position?  This.

“There are jobs that American citizens will not do. There are jobs that American citizens will not do. We can talk about why that is. We can talk about how our welfare state is broken, how we encourage people not to work, but that doesn’t help the farmer pick his peaches this summer. We have businesses that rely on migrant – legal – migrant workers, and a lot of them are in this state,” he added.

Go screw yourself, you jackass.  Maybe your state is filled with a bunch of lazy bastards.  But, America is not.  And, I seriously doubt South Carolina is filled with a bunch of lazy bastards.  I know people from South Carolina.  I’ve been to South Carolina.  I didn’t see Americans refusing to do jobs.  You stupid, stupid, person.

You have businesses which rely on migrant workers …. mostly illegal migrant workers, because they refuse to pay properly and there are considerably less protections for the worker, as mandated by US law, for such workers.  That’s why you have businesses reliant on migrant workers.  They work and operate to keep general wages down.

What these employers are doing is they’re finding ways to circumvent basic economic laws.  They can’t pay and do what US workers demand, so they get their supply of labor elsewhere.  Screw them.  I didn’t make these laws, Mr. Lawmaker.  I only have to abide by them.

No, I never picked peaches.  But, in my youth I did shovel cow excrement from a dairy barn.  Let me tell you, the cow piss and spilt milk makes the cow shit the consistency of thick pea soup.  At times, it was deeper than my rubber boots were high.  But, the fellow paid me $5/hr, so that’s what I did.  I used to remove brake liners from semi-truck brakes to remanufacture the brakes.  They’d come right off the truck …. asbestos, cow dung, mud, grease …. sometimes all in the same brake shoe.  They gave us no masks, and the equipment in the plant would make the temperature 120 degrees F.  I did it for six years, day in, day out.  They had a very strict attendance policy.  I blew out my back at that job.  I could be on disability, today.  But, I refused to say I was done being a productive member of society, so I learned another trade.  Don’t tell me there are jobs Americans refuse to do!!!  I’m living proof that isn’t the case.   …… Oh, yeh, I got that job because that business, which relied on “migrant” workers got raided by Immigration so they suddenly had a lot of job openings.  I had to quit bridge construction because I couldn’t compete with the low wages the construction employers could pay “migrant” workers.

It is an utter and complete falsehood that Americans won’t work certain jobs.  The problem is, American workers demand employers to abide by the same rules and laws the workers are forced to abide by.  And, they have to pay for our labor.

This is why globalization is a horrid thing.  Each nation is a society unto itself.  Each job is a symbiotic relationship between the employer and employee.  If the employer can no longer provide their end of the symbiosis, then they need to go away.  The answer is not to import a different and failed society.  We know that it is a failed society from whence the “migrant” workers come from, else, they wouldn’t be in our nation.

Mr. Mulvaney, go screw yourself, instead of trying to screw real Americans.  I believe it is requisite to have a representative who thinks highly of the people he’s representing.  I guess the people of South Carolina believe differently.

I know people who did pick peaches. Me? I was a cleaning guy at an Audio club (my first paycheck job). Now? The jobs are done by illegals.

No, there are no jobs that Americans will not do. Many of them use to be done by the 50% of the teens no longer employed. Of course they are not as good of workers as the adults – It is their first job. But they will do it.
