A Great Music Post!!! Hallelujah!!!!

So, Kim left us this in one of the Gems posts.

Apparently, this was a competition with the “Voice” program.  And, as I understand it, it was some German kids singing this.

In my estimation, regardless of one’s religious perspective, one has to say “WOW!!!!”.  The voices are something I can’t describe.  Someone should look up the meaning of “Halleluhah”.

Interestingly I find them rather boring because they sound like any other (German) kid singing over here; I, on the other hand, like celtic voices, or US Southerners singing…

Mine eyes have seen the Glory of the Coming of the LORD … 🙂
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored.
He has loosed his fateful lightning of His terrible, swift sword.
      His Truth is marching on.
Glory, glory, hallelujah. Glory, glory, hallelujah.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, His Truth is marching on.

Mark Steyn had a post on this for our Memorial Day. God Bless him.

The Battle Hymn became such a notable thing in the US that not only have children parodied it, the University of Georgia (Athens, GA 50 miles NE of Atlanta, which was burned during that bloodiest of wars Americans have ever fought) uses it as the school’s fight song.
