And, This Is Why I Haven’t Posted On This Until Today …. Bergdahl

This had top billing in at Fox

The thing is, we don’t know, nor do I believe we’ll ever really know.  I can’t speak to the character of the man.  I don’t know all the facts, nor, does anyone other than Bergdahl, and his supposed captors.

As it turns out, the question is being investigated.

Clearly, if he was a deserter, and a collaborator, then the prison swap was asinine.  But, it was asinine even if he wasn’t.

Now that this subject has been fare for millions of discussions around the world and from every possible perspective, I think it’s now appropriate to voice one’s thoughts on this.  So, I’ll tell you what I believe.

I believe this is reflective of the pervasive anti-American sentiment in the White House.  I believe if Bergdahl were an actual captive, serving our nation with honor and distinction, the White House would have left him to rot.  There’s a couple of fellows in Iran which they seem happy to leave there.  They weren’t going to move to save people in Benghazi.

I further believe this was a step towards closing Gitmo, which is another asinine notion.  There’s no way we could have released the 5 we did, except for a prisoner swap.  Team Obama doesn’t give two shakes if they commence, once again, to committing acts of terror against the West and murdering people, which, I’m betting they will.

Zero knows there’s a very good chance he’s going to lose the Senate next year, so he’s pushing his anti-American agenda now.

We don’t negotiate with terrorists, ……  until there’s an anti-American jackass in the White House.

We will survive Obama, but, as a intelligent fellow in Europe wonders, can we survive the assholes who put him in the position he’s in …. twice!!!!

We need to hear a huge popping sound coming from the US, and very soon.

If the stories I’ve read are true….he just got up and walked off the base….guys that served with him are saying the government knew this all along

Imagine that. A horrible human being makes a horrible president supported by similar horrible human beings.

To think a lowly deserted may be the straw that impeaches the Obama. Doubtful, but possible.

  4. Jim Masterson says:

‘Tis an attempt to deflect from the VA scandal. See! Obama really loves the troops! (I wish I could call this sarcasm, but I can’t.)

Yep, I meant to mention that in the post but, I was getting a little worked up writing and had to stop.

    • leftinflagstaff says:

But even that attempt will probably turn out to merely reinforce the ongoing idiocy. Five Taliban commanders for a deserter. And six dead good soldiers. And more lost capturing them in the first place?
