Zerocare, The Continued Failure —– Even The Uninsured Don’t Like It Now!!!

As predicted here at Suyts, from the beginning, and, the most important issue demonstrating the abject failure of the law.

Poll: Uninsured Turn Against Obamacare

The Kaiser Family Foundation has been tracking the popularity of Obamacare among the uninsured since the bill became law in 2010. Today Kaiser Health News revealsthe latest poll numbers which show a dramatic turn against the law. Uninsured Americans now say they have an unfavorable view of the law by a 2:1 margin.

Again, we see the Dema as they are.  This law wasn’t intended to help anyone, it was intended as a step towards the totalitarian utopia the left so badly desires.  The law does far more harm to the poor than good.  And, it needs repealed on this fact, alone.  There are many other reasons to repeal it, but, there isn’t one better than this.

The American people were lied to, and their gullible, trusting nature was advantaged.  They said it was to help the poor.  But, it was an attack on the poor.  The people who can least afford it are forced to buy something they can’t afford, don’t want, and very few need.  All it does is ensure more poverty and criminalizes the poor.  Obamacare is a crime against humanity.

What’s makes this so revealing is that it destroys the notion that Dems are well-meaning but, poor executers of their will.  This was intentional, and we know it was because for nearly 4 years now, people have been pointing out the flaws and the very predictable harm this law was going to do, and the willful and vile leaders of the Dem party absolutely refused to compromise or negotiate with people seeking to alleviate the American public from this disaster.

They not only worked against the good of the people, but, they worked against the will of the people and the foundation of our nation, the US Constitution.  There is no better example of their utter contempt for America than Obamacare.

Most of the uninsured are not stupid. They are just uninterested in politics. So they hear something and repeat it. But when it comes time to write the check, THEN they pay attention.

True, yet so many don’t learn that lesson fully, even when they’re footing the bills.

One of the reasons why I despise hidden taxes is that the ones footing the bills don’t always find out how much the bill really is. The most regressive taxes of all are ‘progressive’ graduated income taxes. Those are designed to keep people from being successful and being able to bless, directly, others.

I think withholding is an insidious tax. It’s almost completely hidden. When people pay too much in withholding, they get a check back after filing their taxes. Many think that’s free money from the government–not a little of their own money that was taken away from them. It would be better for everyone to write checks to the IRS every quarter. That would hit home more, and it wouldn’t be hidden.

Interestingly enough, before WW2, you had to pay each month, I think. Withholding came in with the war and I think Milton Friedman had something to do with that, which I understand that he regretted later in life.

Actually, I’m starting to warm up to it. As an American, I can think of no greater sense of freedom and pride than to buy Sandra Fluke’s birth control for her.
