It appears so, because every event, no matter how seemingly unrelated to climate, is caused by climate change. Therefore, climate change must be causing the decrease in US wild fires, and acreage burnt. Thank you, climate change!!!!

Well, since the climate has not really changed in the past 10 years, I would say there is no correlation between wild fires and climate. Maybe it is related to CO2 and the “greening” of the planet?
