The history of this holiday is interesting. Many don’t realize this is an actual Holy Day, rather than a bizarre satanic sort of weirdness.
While many assume because Christian holidays and other pagan holidays share the same dates, or close to the same dates, that their roots are the same. They’re not necessarily related other than the similarities of lunar and equinox timing, which has held as celebratory occasions nearly since recording of time.
It has morphed into a child’s day to get candy and poisoned and whatnot. And, it’s been commercialized to where it’s simply an expense for frivolity.

Not to mention that it’s another reason to drink, unless that’s what you mean by “frivolity.”
Happy Halloween.

Indeed sir, indeed.
All Hallow’s Eve!
And I have both of those vinyls (you may have surmised by now that I am a big Donovan fan).
But let’s get funky.
Yes, all Hallow’s Eve. LOL I just had a politically incorrect (well in liberal eyes, not mine) come to the door dressed in a police costume brandishing an orange colored fake gun. It warmed my heart actually.
I meant to say a child dressed in a police costume. My keyboard is is not cooperating with me.
LOL!!! I’ve had a few, as well!!!
We had about 3 dozen trick or treaters. By far the most prevalent was either Marvel’s Avengers, or Disney Princesses.
I guess those are all PC.
