Don’t Know ….. Iowahawk Deserves Mention For TOD

TOD= Tweet Of the Day

David Burge @iowahawkblog

So what are we going to get more of from the WH today, Orwellian Euphemisms or Barely Disguised Contempt for the Peasantry? #taketheover

Echoing the spin-meisters explanation for Zerocare.

David Burge @iowahawkblog

Nobody is more frustrated and angry than me about how my pickup mysteriously crashed itself into the liquor store.

David Burge @iowahawkblog

I take complete responsibility for finding out how my pickup crashed into the liquor store. Also, I’ll take this half broken case of vodka.

David Burge @iowahawkblog

When the liquor store owner stops yelling, I will be happy to explain how his new pickup-shaped entrance hole benefits his business.

David Burge @iowahawkblog

Perhaps I could have been more precise when I promised that my pickup would never again crash into the liquor store. But let’s move forward.

David Burge @iowahawkblog

Let’s not lose sight of the fact that my pickup is still functioning, albeit at reduced speed. And ready to serve other area liquor outlets.

Don’t you love it when PoliSci majors try to use swingin’ hepcat programmer lingo? #derp

David Burge @iowahawkblog

Nobody in that whole f***ing room could program a coffee maker.

Forget health care, I want insurance coverage for catastrophic government.

It can’t really be TOD, but, maybe TSOD?

My suggestion to Congress, next time you have Sebelius in front of a hearing get Mr Burge to ask the questions. And bring a mop for the spilled bodily fluids.

  2. DirkH says:

If Apple ran a liquor store, would they stop selling liquor just because my pickup truck crashed into their store?

    • philjourdan says:

Yours is a good analogy. Evil Big business never does blame everyone else for their problems and lies. They cannot. They do not control the media.

      • DirkH says:

I was just aping Obama’s Apple speech in which he compared to an iPhone release.

        • philjourdan says:

I know. The problem with Obama is that the iPhone does work, it just does not have all the features turned on. Obamacare does not work at all.

A better analogy would be to say that Apple released a phone that crashes constantly and will only put through 1 out of every 100 calls you make. I wonder how many iPhones would sell then?
