Dem Rep Frank Pallone, Jr…….
“No, I will not yield to this monkey court or whatever this thing is….”
What got Frankie so agitated?
[W]hether you end up enrolling in ObamaCare or not, no one who puts any information into the ObamaCare website can expect to have their privacy protected. Moreover, the fact that you are giving up your right to privacy is hidden in source code that reads, “You have no reasonable expectation of privacy regarding any communication of any data transmitted or stored on this information system.”
Unfortunately, Pallone and one of the contractors devolved into an incorrect reading of HIPPA requirements, saying that if no health information is exchanged, then they are in compliance with HIPPA regs. I don’t believe this is true. But, it is beyond the point. What little I’ve done in the Zerocare process has a whole bunch of incredibly personal information I had to give just to get as far as I did. Breitbart’s Nolte had this to say about his process…..
Just to get yourself an insurance quote on the ObamaCare site, you have been required to give out information on your income, place of employment, family, and answer a number of questions that verify your identity. For instance, I had to verify a recent car loan. And while you are not required to give out your social security number, you are repeatedly pressured to do so.
You are also asked detailed questions about your family situation; whether you are married and how many children you have. Just to get a quote, I had to also answer intrusive questions about my wife, even though she is already insured and won’t be buying insurance through ObamaCare.
Had I known, that without my knowledge, I was giving away my right to privacy, there is no way on earth I would’ve given the ObamaCare site as much information as I did.
The American people have been repeatedly assured that the website is HIPAA compliant; covered under the strictest of privacy regulations regarding medical and personal information.
This is just another disaster waiting to happen with Zerocare. How many independent contractors have access to our information? Are there any safeguards in place?
Here’s the thing, you, as an individual can not waive other people’s responsibilities under the law. Just like I can’t give permission for someone to commit arson on my home, neither can I give people permission to break any other laws. Here is how the American people force Zerocare to protect our privacy. Arrest them. They’ve violated the law, regardless of whether or not you and I say it is okay. Each state has their own law enforcement agencies. It’s jail time! Thanks to federal overreach, each state is required to enact their own privacy laws, which conform to federal statutes, but are independent of them.
Is there anything more dangerous than a Dem with a plan?
Read more here and here about government intrusion and the Dems’ objection to Repubs exposing it.
So the clowns could not create a functioning web site, but they manage to rip off facebook’s EULA.
Way to go!
No doubt, the only thing they could manage to be like FB.
Well, I guess Obama won’t be signing up then. His past might need to be vetted.
O’kay, I have to ask…. did anyone think with 16000 new IRS agents and thousands of non-vetted navigators………….. Not counting a source code that’s “open source” – that there wouldn’t be privacy issues?
Some fun things included:

HIPAA exempts the privacy regs where required by law, like, say, O-care, where the payment processing companies already have to provide data to CMS. Unlike the past datamining, the O-care stuff will require personally identifiable information to match to the IRS data.
