Well, AJ, it isn’t clear that it does help the GOP more, but, that’s beside the point. It isn’t that the Dems play by the rules. It is that they constantly engage in rhetorical fervor whipping up the lunatic base saying that this undermines democracy.
If they truly feel that it undermines democracy, then wouldn’t one, for the good of the nation, refrain from advantaging themselves in such a manner? Or, is it, as is more likely, that they simply don’t want Repubs to engage in such activity, and that they feel it’s okay for them to do so?
SCOTUS made no rules. Perhaps that is where you fail in your understanding.
Second, no one is saying Hillary is breaking the law – perhaps that is your fail in understanding #2
But if you campaign against the rules, and then use them to enrich yourself, yes, you are a hypocrite.
And last I checked, that is not illegal. Perhaps that is your failure #3.
