Mr. Tingle Doesn’t Understand Democracy

The lunatics have lost their minds.  Did all leftards take an extra crazy pill the other day?

MSNBC’S MATTHEWS: TEA PARTY RACIST BY USING WORD ‘WE’

I’ve already told readers about the “3/5” lunacy.  So, I think I’ll parse his insanity a bit.

[T]hey have this weird ‘we’ they refer to. ‘We the American people.’

I’m not sure if he understands the historical reference and how “We the People” relates to the Tea party.  I’d go into detail about the birth of America, our Declaration of independence and The Preamble To the US Constitution, but, it’s all rather obvious to rational people.

Why does a group of people that always loses elections or tends to do lately, why do they call themselves ‘the American people’?

As far as I’m aware, the Tea party doesn’t refer to themselves as being exclusively “the American people”.  That’s an invention in the mind of the lunatics.  Always loses elections?  Wasn’t there just the other day large blocks of Senators and Representatives, being supported by the Tea party doing some things in congress?  I’m sure I saw some Tea party types in office.  Maybe some one slipped me the same stuff Mathew is snorting or hugging?

Do they still count blacks as three-fifths of a vote? Is that the way to countimage it? Is that they way they count it?

I don’t know, Chris, you should ask Allen West.  You race baiting lunatic.

Because seriously, why do you say ‘we the American people’ when the president keeps getting re-elected, and you keep saying ‘Oh, we don’t like him. We don’t like him.’

He “keeps” getting re-elected?  Chris, he got re-elected once.  And, that’s all he’s going to be.  He “keeps”?  How stupid is that?

Now how does that work? Why do they vote for him? So there’s this ‘we’ I’m very worried about, like ‘we’re more American than the rest, so we should get a higher weighting of who we are.’ I think it’s dangerous.

Yeh, oddly, if we do that “one man/one vote” thingy, as the House of Representatives do.  then we see the results.  It is, rather, that the president was not, is not, and will never be elected by such a premise.  He is elected, in part, by people who have a “higher weighting” than “one man/one vote“.

I find it fascinating how leftards would so casually dismiss entire bodies of government now and seemingly claim absolute rule over the people, so much so, as to even denigrate large groups of citizens and their advocacy.  The are against the right to assemble, and demand redress.  They fail to understand what form of governance we’re suppose to live under.

People should take a long hard look at what the left is supporting and advocating at this moment.  This will only get worse the longer some leftard is in office.

I guess his logic is if you do not speak for all people, you cannot use the plural. In which case he better stop. Even on his side, he does not speak for all people.

after much thought I have come to this conclusion:
    AAAGGGHHH AAAGGGHHH AAAAGGGHH
( it must be happy hour somewhere )

  3. ThePhDScientist says:

Hahaha! Keep sticking up for those tea party crazies! That’s a winning strategy for sure! Right up there with denying any man made effect on climate change 😀

Oh boy it must be interesting to exist in your world. Where Ted Cruz represents the will of the American people and fossil fuels are good for the environment! LOL

Never mind science of those polls. What was the tea party approval rating? 21% just behind the Republicans 24%?

    • suyts says:

Yeh, I wouldn’t make much of those polls. Most of them don’t separate out the regions or states. And, it doesn’t represent the ever expanding definition of a “tea party” type. Here may be a better read …. https://suyts.wordpress.com/2013/10/18/lol-schumer-helping-mitch-with-delusional-babbling-tea-party-magic-becoming-obvious/

All opposition to Dems and the president on any policy is now defined as “Tea party”, much in the same way you associate “Tea party” to climate skepticism.

But, back to the polling. Do you know where the Repubs and Tea party people lost ground? ….. In places where they weren’t going to win an election anyway. My hard right Senators and Rep hasn’t dropped one percentage point, as far as I can tell. Same in our neighboring OK.

      • ThePhDScientist says:

Ok first you really have to get out of the habit of referencing something you authored as a better “read”. I consider most of the stuff on here to be highly spun, irrational B.S.
So if you want to convince me of a position – say that Republicans and tea partiers haven’t lost ground then show me a real article.

But you can’t because you’re a bigger nut case than I thought if you really believe that. The only place Tea Partiers and Repubs haven’t lost ground are in gerrymandered districts that were never competitive.

You do know in the last election Dems got over 1,000,000 more votes than Repubs and still lost the house.

Now onto those competitive districts outside of a small gerrymandered West Texas town…

        • DirkH says:

          One question PhDick.

How much fun is winning if your victory consists of accelerating the train right before it’s going to go over the cliff?

I understand your triumphalism only if I suppose that your objective is to destroy the American Empire together with America itself.

Am I right that that is indeed your objective?

And if so, how do you plan to operate after having destroyed the US economy, the Dollar, the republic?

        • philjourdan says:

Dirk, you are asking for a rational answer from an irrational source. They are all just yelling Wheeeeee as the train speeds along. Like animals, they have no clue about the future, nor do they look to it.

        • philjourdan says:

Here’s a clue for the moronic bigots. If you do not like it, don’t read it! Duh!

        • leftinbrooklyn says:

To children, going to Grandma’s, being spoiled rotten, and having no responsibility other than to show how much you enjoy her treats, is winning.

Of course Libs think they’re winning.

        • Lars P. says:

Good question Dirk, but do you think PhDick will think for a moment?

        • philjourdan says:

“Good question Dirk, but do you think PhDick will think for a moment?”

He generally ignores me, but as a resident of the other side of the atlantic, the question remains what exactly the Dems hope to achieve by hyperinflating the Dollar.

My best hypothesis is that they’re too stupid too notice what they’re doing. They probably believe their own propaganda. Which is pretty stupid.

        • suyts says:

Well, Dirk, that is one of the things which was striking to me during the whole debt ceiling and budget debate. The left has a fundamental lack of understanding about how the government is actually run. Some of them, because they were told by some lunatic, truly believe that we’ve already spend the money and that raising the debt ceiling was the only way to pay our way forward. They believed that!

      • suyts says:

LOL, I wasn’t referencing whether or not Tea party or Repubs have lost ground. In fact, I’ll stipulate that they have, currently. People like me knew that would be the result going in, and I said that back in September.

The link I gave you was me referencing the power the people on the left give the Tea party. It was, in part tongue-in-cheek, but, the underlying premise is unmistakably real. All opposition to Dems is now magically transformed into Tea partiers.

The bikers rolled through DC? Dems suddenly called them Tea party. Truckers, the same. Veterans, the same. Dems are the ones sustaining the Tea party and empowering them. I see it as a good thing, but, people like Mitch McConnell probably doesn’t. And, that is why I handed you that link.

You know, Ph, the gerrymandering cuts both ways. And, yes, I’m aware of the votes, but, again, and like you said, that’s mostly because of districts which are not competitive.

The ground lost in the recent roil is transient and temporary. We’ve a full year to go until mid-terms. After a couple of months and the perpetual crisis machine team Zero is, no one will recall the particulars of this roil any more than they do the “fiscal cliff” mess we had just 9 months ago. Sure, they’ll have the vague recollection that Repubs wanted to stop Dems from spending and opposed Zerocare, and they’ll remember the Dems wanted to spend and refused to compromise on Zerocare, but, beyond that, it’ll be a faded memory. Heck, we’re already set up for another fight in January. And, then heaven knows what’s next. A MSM reporter was talking about another case similar to Fast and Furious, only it involves grenades. .

Seconded, and to you too, Squid!
It’s what I enjoy about this blog. Aside from a couple of detractors, the commenters here, are, IMHO, better per person than any other blog I’ve participated in. We don’t have as many as others, but, the quality of the content is superior.

        • squid2112 says:

          Thank you!

I really appreciate the tremendous effort you put forth in running this blog. This is one thing that the likes of PhD, DA and some others don’t seem to be able to grasp very well. It is not easy to continually and consistently run a blog such as this. I, for one, am grateful for you and others that do so in and open and truthful manner. If we are to avoid a complete totalitarian state and usurpation, blogs such as this are likely going to be accredited with playing an extremely important role in such. This is clearly shown by some recent remarks from Zero alluding to such [paraphrase] “..ignore the bloggers .. yada yada yada ..”. Tyrants, such as Zero, desperately need to silence voices such as this blog. DO NOT allow this to happen! At all costs!

Well, only the brand name. Because all people opposed to any of Zero’s policies are automatically lumped in with the Tea party, I’d say they enjoy a huge populous advantage. Personally, I’m pretty proud of some of those guys, especially Cruz.

He knew it wasn’t going his way, and said so immediately after the House passed the first CR. But, he stood by what he felt was right. He stood on his principles. One may, or may not agree with them, but, he demonstrated more integrity in 2 weeks than the whole of the Dem party, and most of the Repub party has in years.

I would hope that all of our representatives would act in accord with their conscience as Cruz did. Maybe then, we could have some honest dialogue.

Yep, I’ve a old (30+years) broken cheek/fracture to the eye-socket. It all healed up and I sort of suspect it. But somehow a thunder storm smells strange to me, nothing I can define but I know it when it’s there.

Ozone. I can smell it from the trees in the summer and preceding a thundershower’s gust front. Once you know what it is, like a bleeding gut or a dead, decomposing human, you’ll never forget.
