The “Blessed Walk” October 11

Scripture Selection: Psalm 128:1; Proverbs 11:3, 5; Luke 11:28

Food for Thought: Ps. 128:1

The happiest people on earth are the ones who know the Lord and walk in His ways. They hear the Word and put it into practice out of love for Him, and they are most blessed for it. But why is it they are so blessed? What causes the blessing to come on their lives? Doing the “Blessed Walk” is what does it.

The “Blessed Walk” is loving the Lord and walking with Him, putting all trust in Him. When they trust Him, they can trust His Word and apply it to their lives. That’s walking in His will and His way which is perfect and prevents many hazards and falls. Whereas those in the world stumble, bump, and fall through the darkness in which they live, those doing the “Blessed Walk” have the Word to direct them. It guides them from glory to glory, and as they sow seeds of righteousness drawn from their continued connection to the Lord on the way in every area of their lives, they reap many, many blessings.

God is faithful, and His Word is true. Happy people are blessed people—doing the “Blessed Walk.”
