In an entirely predictable development, but, a bit earlier than I anticipated, there is a RINO movement sighted.
First on CNN: Moderate House Republicans working to line up votes on their own plan
Washington (CNN) – Moderate House Republicans who want to fund the government with no strings attached are working to line up votes against a House GOP plan to renew federal coffers while chipping away at Obamacare, multiple GOP sources involved in the effort tell CNN.
Rep. Charlie Dent, R-Pennsylvania, Rep. Peter King, R-New York, and others are feverishly making calls to stage what would effectively be a revolt.
They say they are hoping there are enough GOP members like them who are fed up with the tactics of the leadership that they can find enough votes to defeat the first procedural measure, known as the rule. That would prevent the House GOP leadership from even bringing their plan up at all.
Given the makeup of the GOP caucus, these House Republican moderates would need in the ballpark of 20 Republicans to agree to defy their leadership, and be willing to face what will undoubtedly be the wrath of the conservative grassroots.
“We have people in the conference, I believe, who’d be just as happy to have the government shutdown,” King said. “They live in these narrow echochambers. They listen to themselves and their tea party friends. That keeps them going, forgetting that the rest of the country thinks we’re crazy.”
Oh, those Dem lites are at it again. Recall all of the votes we’ve seen on this. Clearly, they’re not voting with the courage of their convictions.

They are Republicans, but not conservatives. That is why i abstain from using the term RINOs.
RINO fits. They are Republican in name only. Democrat lite, for they’re socialist or accept socialist premises, but want to wear the name Republican.
This could get Boehner out of a jam. If some ‘RINO’s’ cross the floor to pass the Senate bill then he has (a) shown his principled stand against Obamacare to the dast ditch and (b) not shut down the government thereby infuriating all those tofu-brained types who think its all the Republicans’ fault. 2014 beckons.
Don’t get me wrong, I think Obamacare is arguably the worst piece of prose written in the English language since Das Kapital and it should be erased from history. But most people don’t troll through all the graphs I see showing how much damage it is doing to ordinary Americans.
They failed already.
WELL…………. Mr King, we mighta helped you in your endeavors – HAD you at least backed Mr. Cruz’s efforts.
The Republican “BASE” is a conservative one – your back stabbing biotch antics PO that base.
You will not be kindly remembered in 2014 – 2016.
