So, how come the cli-sci people haven’t told the world that our sea ice problem isn’t a problem and that total global snow and ice albedo has likely increased over nearly a decade?

Sea ice extent was averaged June 30-June29 annually.  In million sq km.

Here’s the NH Snow coverage with monthly averaged from June to May over the same time period.

  1. Latitude says:

and yet they look at every temp reconstruction….see short term tics going in one direction….when the overall trend is going in the opposite direction

  2. HankH says:

They hyper-focus and hyperventilate on what agrees with their ideology to the ignorance of the much bigger picture. Yes, there has been slight NH warming, yes there has been a small declining trend in arctic ice for a few decades (it has happened before). No, there is no hotspot, the world is greening – agriculture is up, SH ice is increasing, snow is increasing, and almost all other metrics (except for economic, which the greenies are doing everything possible to destroy) suggest the world is more hospitable for the advancement of mankind.

Yet, for them, the end is neigh. How simple minded and blind to history.

I looked, do we find “destroy the planet” in recent news, yup, Noam Chomsky, yup.
