Are You Listening? June 30
Scripture Selection: Psalm 29:3-9;Prov. 30:5; Revelations 1:15, 14:1-2
Food for Thought: Ps. 29:4
The Bible gives great descriptions of the voice of God that proclaim His power beyond measure. His voice is a creative force, full of majesty that thunders, stirs up, and divides flames. But the most amazing thing of all is that He allows His voice to be heard in our spirits. As a matter of fact, it is one of God’s greatest desires to speak to us, and that we hear Him.
Some say that God speaks to us through the written Word, and that is quite true. He has much to say to us by His Word. The readings of the daily selected scriptures from this devotional is just one example of His Word speaking to us. However, we should not ignore nor neglect the fact that God can and does speak to us in our spirits and, at times, even audibly to some.
Let’s tune our spirits and ears by faith to be able and available to hear God’s voice today. That requires paying purposeful attention to the Spirit and giving Him our time. He has much to say, but are we really listening?

Thank you again.
Awake thou that sleepest , and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee Light
I am so glad He spoke these words to me!

His words are precious, and I am so glad He spoke those words to you, too!
