Memorial Day

On such an occasion I have no proper words to express my gratitude and admiration for the American fighting man.  He has been the noblest of figures throughout the history of this nation.  These have been the best this nation has had to offer, and they continue to be the best, today.

It has often been said that the United States has been blessed by God.  One only needs to regard the American fighting man to know this is true.  Whether drafted or volunteered, these men acted in the manner which gave the uniform dignity—- dignity in peril, dignity in death, and dignity in victory.  For this could have only been Divine intervention to have such a random gathering of people who throughout our history responded in such a manner.

Today, while we enjoy the company of friends and family, take some time to regard the men and women who gave their all so we could enjoy such occasions.  They are the finest of characters and deserve even much more than simple regard even though they never asked for even that.

“No Better Friend, No Worse Enemy.”

No military force in the history of the Earth has done more to comfort the troubled, and free the enslaved. Only God has the ability to properly compensate these heroes for their selfless sacrifices.

Have a great Memorial Day James!
