I don’t like using too many videos, but, you guys and gals should watch this as a veil seems to be lifting.
Will the leftards ever learn and understand that we’re right more often than not? The Morning Joe’s realization is shocking enough. But, this the most shocking. Listen to what Piers is saying!
Of course, I don’t expect this to last. Soon enough, they’ll forget all about this or find some way to rationalize this tyrannical behavior of our government.
I would note the HuffPo’s mouthpiece on the Morning Joe. Look at how he’s spinning for the WH. But, as we’ve noted several times before, corruption and incompetence are not mutually exclusive. Just like malevolence and stupidity are not mutually exclusive.
Of course the background checks would have been used to make a national registry. It would have been nearly impossible for it not to have been. No, we shouldn’t trust the IRS with our personal medical information. And, a Justice department whose aim isn’t upholding the law, but rather ideological advocacy, isn’t going to help the citizens of this nation.
Our form of democracy was designed for us to rule ourselves. It was never purposed that we acquiesce our liberties to what ever government happens to be in power at the time. Honorable opposition is the responsibility of the citizenry. And the fourth estate is always to have an antagonistic and extremely skeptical relationship with the people in power. When these two things fail, as they have, then the results are unaccountable lunatics destroying our basic liberties. The government asking what books we read, tapping phones, intruding into our personal medical issues, imprisoning people over lies they told, silencing their critics, …… all of this is because no one demanded accountable and responsible leadership.
Sure, there were voices out there, but as Piers did, so did many others, not just in the media, but also in the citizenry, the voices were immediately dismissed as cranks and crackpots. How many times have we been accused of being conspiracy theorists?
We were let down. Sure, we were let down by our government. Yes, we were let down by the media. But, the worst part of it is we were let down by our fellow citizens. They placed ideology above country. The put party before people. And, most shockingly, some are still doing it, today.
