    I guess she is prescient.

  2. HankH says:

Soooo, she’s concerned that Members of Congress will beat up the State Department for not paying attention to Agency warnings. It’s odd that is a concern of hers unless she believes it to be true.

  3. ThePhDScientist says:

    Benghazi SCANDAL = FAIL!!!

LoL time to come back to earth crazy republicans…

    • suyts says:

So, the stand down orders to save Americans…..NBD? The lies about an imaginary protest….. NBD? The repeatedly denied requests for more security …… NBD?

Leaving our people to die with no help coming…… NBD?

      • ThePhDScientist says:

You’re right there were some legitimate questions that should be answered there regarding who made the call not to send any help in and whether or not that was appropriate (maybe it was). But why was there such little security in the first place.

You should join the rest of us patriotic American’s in expressing outrage at these Republican’s for trying to turn this into a 3 ring circus about who said what on the Sunday morning talk show, rather than trying to find real answers.

I believe Olympia Snowe said just that herself last night…

        • suyts says:

I was never a fan of Snowe. As far as trying to find answers….. this email was just now released after 9 months of stonewalling.

        • philjourdan says:

Emails – but there is still the 67 hour gap. popeye would have everyone believe that there was no correspondence for that time period. 4 people are dead, and no one in Obama’s administration cared about it.

        • ThePhDScientist says:

No the emails were released to all the members of congress who were heading up the investigational committees many months ago. And it’s quite common for administrations (left and right) to protect internal communications. This administration took the highly unusual step of going even further and releasing all these emails to the press, in addition to members of congress.

Do you only believe the Republican spun information on this non-scandal. If so then I can understand why you’re so misguided…

        • suyts says:

LOL, Ph, you’re talking in circles. And, they’re still missing information. Timelines, statements and testimony are readily available over the nets. Take some time to educate yourself on this subject. Blaming the messengers is a time honored method of distraction. Remember that guy that got arrested for making that video? The one that Hillary promised one of the mothers of the dead that she’d get? You know, the guy and video that had nothing to do with the attack on the consulate. Remember the speech Zero gave to the UN about the video?

        • philjourdan says:

It is not common for administrations to lie to congress. That is what gets you a jail term (more often than breaking any law). So that is a lie. It is also a lie they were released 9 months ago. The administration was slow to create its alibi, so they had to cull the emails to present a narrative. A narrative that is even now falling apart.

As I said previously, you may like to be lied to (I guess that is the only time you hear something good about yourself), but you are not representative of most people.

        • ThePhDScientist says:

I see you don’t like Olympia Snowe because she doesn’t stick to the hard core fanatical Republican talking points….SHOCKER!

        • philjourdan says:

There was no dislike expressed of Snowe. However, unlike obamabots, most people agree that reasonable people can disagree. I think it is called having your own identity.

        • philjourdan says:

There was very little security in the first place, because Obama and Hillary had pulled it. Yes, that is the smart thing to do. Pull security in a war zone. How intelligent (NOT).

And until the questions are answered, demanding answers IS patriotic!

      • ThePhDScientist says:

And all those emails seem to suggest the intelligence suggested this could be related to a protest and when the intelligence was changed the administration and state department changed there message appropriately. No harm there! It’s not like using bad intelligence to launch a 10 year 3 trillion dollar war?

        • suyts says:

Ph, you haven’t been following the testimony and statements. As far as the Sunday morning talk shows, Rice was sent explicitly to “inform” the public. That was the administration’s doing, not Repubs. The fact that Rice’s talking points were scrubbed to deceive the American public as to the events that occurred is again, at the feet of the administration. Not anyone else.

No one on the ground said anything about a protest or a video. This was simply a creation of someone in the administration. And, no, the administration did not adjust their statements when things became known. They continued to lie and obfuscate.

Why is this email important? Because the review board said all of this happened at a low level at the State Dept. But, Vickie Nuland doesn’t take directions from low-level state dept employees.

It’s difficult to blame Repubs for calling bs when the administration is blowing smoke. How hard is it to just tell the truth?

        • philjourdan says:

For girly men it is damn near impossible.

        • ThePhDScientist says:

Umm no what you’re spouting off is actually not at all true. Republican folk lore, which the release of all the emails show to be the case…

        • philjourdan says:

it is all true popeye. Your inability to keep up with the news is well documented.

        • suyts says:

Specifically what did I spout that was “folklore”? The release of this email demonstrates the scrubbing and the why the talking points were scrubbed. They were scrubbed not to accurately depict facts but to protect image.

        • ThePhDScientist says:

The emails clearly show these were intelligence officials who were debating the talking points not some master ploy by Obama and HIllary to deceive the American public. That is republican born spin in desperate search of a scandal to engineer…. FAIL!

        • philjourdan says:

No, the emails do clearly show someone was trying to deceive the public. Now it may have been the WH Janitor, but somehow I do not think he is privy to the NSS meetings.

You can believe in fairies. But you will excuse the rest of us for not playing in your fantasy.

        • suyts says:

Who do you think Vickie Nuland worked for? Let’s see, was it the CIA? No…. Justice dept? No…… Oh, yeh, that was the state dept objecting to the content of the talking points. Or did you miss the part where the head of the CIA objected to the finalized version? Was Petraeus over ruled by someone who works for him or someone above him? http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20130516/NATION/305160367/1022/rss10

        • philjourdan says:

And the 67 hour gap? Gee! I guess morons can’t count.

And the war was $1.29t. less than 1 Obama deficit.

      • philjourdan says:

He wants to be lied to. Apparently he loves it.

  4. gator69 says:

    Vast right wing conspiracy! 😆
