Something Very Strange And Nigh Impossible Happened Today —– Bathtubs

This is just too freakish to be true, but, I saw it happen with my own eyes!!!  I don’t know if I’ve found a portal to an extra dimension or if my house is built on an ancient Indian burial ground, but, it’s really got me spooked!!

I’ll start at the start.  It’s a little overcast and cool this morning, so instead of taking a shower I decided a nice hot bath was in order.  So, I filled my tub with steaming hot water.

My grandson was demanding some attention.  The tub was full, so I shut the tap off.  And went to attend to my grandson.

Well, I got busy and distracted doing one thing or another.  But that’s NBD these days because I’ve got 6 100 watt incandescent light bulbs in my bathroom.  After an indeterminate about of time passed I decided to go take my hot bath.  And that’s where things got really weird!

I touched the top of the water and it was strangely cool to the touch!!!  Again, this is ‘no big deal’.  Obviously all of the hot water was at the bottom of the tub and all I would have to do is stir it around to make my bath evenly hot again.  But, ….. and now I know there will be doubters here when I write this, but I swear this is true!!!  When I went to stir the hot water back around it wasn’t there!!!!  All my hot was gone!!!!  I looked for it everywhere!  My hands felt every inch of the bottom of the tub and there was no hot anywhere in my water!!!!

Clearly this is impossible.  But, it happened!!!

heat, energy that is transferred from one body to another as the result of a difference in temperature. If two bodies at different temperatures are brought together, energy is transferredโ€”i.e., heat flowsโ€”from the hotter body to the colder. The effect of this transfer of energy usually, but not always, is an increase in the temperature of the colder body and a decrease in the temperature of the hotter body.

So the thought is that our deep oceans are getting hotter.  And that’s where all of our missing heat went.  But, clearly, as my story above illustrates, heat in water doesn’t work that way.  But, most importantly, heat transfer would be detected from one body to another.  I would say that I’m borrowing this from Pielke Sr., but many others have articulated this before.

So, let’s look at some Ocean Heat Content graphs.

This is from 0-700 meters.  Now, everyone ignore what these people believe prior to 2003.  It holds no basis other than belief.  But, let’s see what the deeper OHC says…..

Yeh, that’s possible.  Just like my bathtub should have had the heat all go to the bottom of my tub.  Here we see that the heat flew right by or teleported past the 0-700 meter depths and just decided to lurk below that mark.  You see, global warming heat has special powers which operate well beyond the powers of normal heat.

2003 marked the time when our Argo float system attained near global coverage.  They’ve been adding floats and tweaking the data and measurements ever since.  Now, because they’ve jacked with them so much it’s giving us unrealistic information which the nutters uncritically accept, because it fits their world view.  Physics be damned.  What’s even more fascinating is that they don’t feel compelled to explain this aberration.  Pretend scientist after pretend scientist simply accept it and pass it on as reality. It’s what we’ve come to expect from the nutters.

You can read about Pielke Sr’s thoughts here at WUWT.

OMG – Its the devils work!
Global warming lives in the dark cold depths – Lol
PS. James has – 6 100 watt incandescent light bulbs in my bathroom. Al Gore will be jealous!

I have seen Mr Gores house up close… well, as close as you can get without going inside.
He does not suffer from energy usage.

His Tennessee home could power-up a small airport and 3 average homes.

Yes he would! But, it does illuminate quite well. And, as a bonus, no space heater is required. ๐Ÿ™‚

I was going to post that WUWT link here last night, to show what Toshinmactivist is like, but it’s hard for him and he does the bestestest he can! ๐Ÿ˜†

My god, man….Are you saying that elements of nature, change?

  4. Danny Wright says:

Global warming is true, even if we have to make up the evidence for it.

  5. PhilJourdan says:

next time, put the bulb in a lamp, turn it on, break the bulb and then put it in your tub. I guarantee you will never complain about cold water again. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  6. HankH says:

Did you check the very depths of your hot water heater? The missing heat might be there lurking at the very bottom and thus remains undetected in the bathtub because it never came out. ๐Ÿ˜†

  7. PhilJourdan says:

Ok, here is what REALLY happened. 2 nights ago, I went to take a shower. No hot water! I fiddled with the hot water heater, but it would not crank up. I took a cold shower (cold showers are not COOL!).

Plumber came out yesterday morning. The found the problem. The hot water heater had gone on vacation (it had set itself to vacation mode)!

My hot water had gone on vacation! Probably to the deep oceans to visit its friends.
