On Friday, President Obama claimed his administration, known for its rampant green energy boondoggles like Solyndra, had the ability to avoid pork barrel projects when asking Congress to approve $21 billion for infrastructure funding.
Obama’s plan includes $10 billion for an infrastructure bank that would give seed money to projects his administration selects as winners, $4 billion for a federal infrastructure loan program, and $7 billion in tax incentives for state and local bonds.
“Instead of picking projects based on pork barrel politics, we’ll pick them based on how good they are for the economy,” Obama said.
Is that a joke? Was Obama trying his hand at standup comedy?

Obama funds only flying pigs, not ones in barrels. Pork barrel projects usually have some small benefit but his flying pigs are completely useless.
