White House Administration Continues To Display Unfathomable Stupidity —- Solis This Time

The above picture and quote reference an entirely different subject, but it demonstrates the abject stupidity of this current administration.

Now, it’s Labor Secretary Hilda Solis’ turn to display total vacancy when it comes to economics.  Ironically, she, once again, outs her stupidity with CNBC.  The questioner was trying to make a point that while our political leaders dithered about the “fiscal cliff”, business leaders simply went into a holding pattern.  They weren’t going to do anything until the outcome was known.  Not content to display her vacuity in just one particular manner, she goes for the two-fer!  And nails it!  Not only does she not understand that the political gamesmanship came with a cost to jobs, she demonstrates a misconception about the economic effects of governmental largess, all too common in this administration.  Are these people incapable of simple thought?

REPORTER: How many jobs do you think the fiscal cliff embarrassment cost this country?
SECRETARY SOLIS: You know, all I can tell you is that we’ve helped to provide, I think, some stop gaps. And what I think about is, those 2 million people that would have lost their unemployment insurance. Because think about it, all that money that goes out in terms of what’s being spent by that unemployment check helps to generate two additional dollars back in the community. Everyone continues to keep their jobs. I can’t give you an exact figure, but I’ll tell you just by the movement that the President made, we’ve saved millions and millions of jobs.
REPORTER: No, I understand your point of view. But it doesn’t answer the question of, as long as the debacle went on, ……We talked to CEOs ……who said they’re not hiring as a result of the uncertainty regarding the fiscal cliff. …… So certainly we cost ourselves thousands, tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of jobs over the last several months because of this whole debacle.

This is one of the reasons conservatives have a difficult time determining whether or not these people are stupid or evil.

It is impossible for me to believe these people are that unfathomably stupid.  But, Solis is only one of several people in this current administration to express such a thought as this.  If she truly believes this, then why not advocate putting everyone on unemployment, then we’d have a perpetual wealth generator!  Here is our Secretary of Labor extolling imaginary virtues of an unemployment check!  How is it that the president of the United States has surrounded himself with people of such massive stupidity?  If he thinks these people have such talent to run the various departments of our government, doesn’t this then speak volumes to his own abilities, or lack thereof?

And the American people reelected this group of imbeciles!!

Yes they did and that speaks volumes about the education of modern voter and how it bodes for the future of the country. The only thing I can say is God help us, and I might add I am not overly religious.

It’s been astounding to realize just how vapid these people are and as you note, how vapid the modern voter is. I’m in constant amazement.

I think that top pic should say “displays” instead of “dispalys”…

    What planet is she on?
How are these people graded for the task that they are expected to carry out?
Dumb, stupid, and idiot are the only three measures I can think was the criteria.

I’m kind of impacted by the fact that the president makes a movement and we’re somehow saved. I think I’ll move off to the side in case he makes another. I don’t want to be in the way. 😉

Is she really saying that unemployment is a job? Moron!
