Father Of Fallen Hero Confirms Suyts’ Space

Another senseless sacrifice of an American hero, Ty Woods.

Monday, I told readers

This representative of the United States of America to the world doesn’t know how to do the most American form of greeting.  You stand upright, with your back straight, you extend a hand of welcome and friendship with a firm but, not too hard squeeze and you look at the person straight in the eyes.  Any American man knows this.  If the male can’t or won’t do this, then he’s not a man.

Glenn Beck has an exclusive interview with Charles Woods.  He’s the father of one of the people killed in Benghazi, Ty Woods, a former Navy SEAL.  I’ll be writing more about this.  This is by no means the most important part of what Mr. Woods had to say…… sort of.  You can tell a lot about a person by his handshake.

The grieving father… described his brief encounter with President Obama during the ceremony for the Libya victims.

“When he finally came over to where we were, I could tell that he was rather conflicted, a person who was not at peace with himself,” Woods said. “Shaking hands with him, quite frankly, was like shaking hands with a dead fish. His face was pointed towards me but he would not look me in the eye, his eyes were over my shoulder.”

“I could tell that he was not sorry,” he added. “He had no remorse.”

My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Woods.  While his loss was the greatest, all of us are diminished by the passing of his son.

If Obama can’t show remorse or even console a grieving father whose son was ultimately in the charge of Obama, how can the rest of us trust him to do right by the American people?

More on this obscene encounter later.

Really makes you want to vote him in for another 4 years, right? NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woods and Griffin rescued the others disobeying their order to stand down; or their superioirs in headquarters disobeyed orders from above to stand down. Only after 7h 20min into the attack were Woods and Griffin killed by a mortar shell. In the meantime they had a laser pointed at the mortar position. This could have helped a gunship target it – had the administration sent air support. Which they didn’t.

Some things should be considered such as further risk . I realise it is an emotional issue but the decision maker did not act in bad faith whomever that might be. Please remember the 300 or so fire fighters that were sent to their deaths on the real 9/11. It is always easier to say something in hindsight. Also the full details about Bengazi have not come out.

    • suyts says:

Kelly, enough details are out to determine the decision maker did act in bad faith. This is not how American people conduct themselves.

Read the reports. If the personnel had been allowed to go to the consulate when they wanted to go, then it is very likely our ambassador Stevens would be alive today.

Indeed, when a handful from the annex disobeyed the orders to stand down, they were able to move to the consulate and secure the personnel there, even one dead, and move them back to the annex.

If our people had been allowed to move from Tripoli and Sicily, they would have been there in time to prevent the two additional deaths of our former SEALS. But, cowardice and indecision prevented these things from happening.

It is the purpose of the US military to move to protect American interests and Americans, regardless of the forces against American interests. You don’t leave people behind like that!!! THAT’S NOT HOW WE DO THINGS! You can be damned sure no military personnel decided to stand down.

Those men calling in coordinates, what do you think they were doing that for?

      • kim2ooo says:

        I agree!

The “Stand Down” did not come from a military command IMO

Only a wraith [ bureaucrat ] would issue such an order while Americans are UNDER attack. Only a wraith would have this unmitigated gall.

Kelly, one C-130 gunship would have saved their lives. Do you know the capabilities of said aircraft? Obviously not.

      • leftinbrooklyn says:

Exactly, Gator….C-130 gunships. A few more advanced capabilities than horses and bayonets. How disgusting does that snarky attempt to belittle Romney sound now?

        • gator69 says:

Reagan said it best, “Well, the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.”:

Dad used to speak in awe about what the 130’s could do in Vietnam, and I have watched over the years as their capabilities have grown, greatly. We had all the boots on the ground we needed.

        • leftinbrooklyn says:

Another bad thing about our Liberal friends: Even when they DO find out what is so, they fear taking action, and later blame it on things like crappy YouTube videos.

          Appreciate your Dad’s service.

This admisistration is a CLOWN SHOW. They cowered in front of their monitors in the situation room and ran around in circles. Obama has surrounded himself with people even more incompetent than him – like small leaders do.

    • philjourdan says:

The problem for Obama is they are coming out. A situation like this cannot be kept quiet for long. And people will talk, and are talking.

Yes, hindsight is 20/20. But what Obama DID is not the issue. The issue is what he said after the fact. Everyone can screw up (not risk additional lives), but what kills you is when you lie about it.
