The intellect of the Dem party has spoken.
FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden says that he and President Barack Obama had been on the job less than a week when a top economic adviser told them the country was facing a trillion-dollar budget deficit.
Biden says that Obama replied, “But I haven’t done anything yet.”
Biden blames the deficit on the previous Bush administration, adding that it “put two wars on a credit card” and gave tax cuts to the wealthy after inheriting a balanced budget and revenue surplus from the Clinton administration.
Well, sure, we can stated that Bush didn’t do very well with constraining costs. So, what was Obama’s reaction after hearing the news? He passed an additional $trillion in spending.
This is the problem with Mr. Irresponsible and Unpatriotic. He didn’t do anything to address the problem. Nothing. In fact, he worked towards increasing the US debt as no president did before him. It’s easy to point and blame. It would have been easy to constrain the debt explosion. All Obama had to do was quit spending money on irrational projects and allow for economy growth. But, he didn’t. Obama has thwarted economic growth at every turn. He has spent like a drunken sailor on shore leave without regard to the future. I’d go into more detail in response to Biden, but, no one really takes serious what that clown has to say.
