Dems Cover-up Their Godlessness and Anti-Semitism!!!!

Dang it!  I was so busy today, I didn’t have time to write about their rejection of God and the thought that they could mandate to the Israelis where they call their capital.  But, that’s not all…….

Democrats restore references to God, Jerusalem in platform

The Democratic Party has restored references in its official platform to “God” and to Jerusalem as the recognized capital of Israel.

The move comes after some had complained that the platform approved Tuesday omitted those references, which were included in the 2008 platform.

Many in the audience booed after the convention chairman, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, ruled that the amendments had been approved despite the fact that a large group of delegates objected.

He called for a vote three times before ruling.

The party reinstated language from the 2008 platform that said “we need a government that stands up for the hopes, values and interests of working people and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential.”

The platform also now includes what advisers said was Obama’s personal views on Jerusalem.

I do love the weaselness of the Jerusalem part.  It contains what people say what Obama said…… or something.  Either you support Israel to call Jerusalem their capital, or you don’t.  It is really that simple.

Unchanged, apparently, is the advocating  free abortions, apparently regardless of circumstances or how late in term the child and mother would be.

I’m wondering how that squares with keeping healthcare costs down?  What’s the cost of an abortion to a condom?  And why in world does anyone think I or anyone else should be held responsible for someone’s poor judgment and promiscuity?  Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for free love and whatnot, but if I’m not participating, I’m not paying.  If you want to get it on with someone, have the damned decency to take responsibility for your own actions and quit trying to make people who are more prudent pay for your obviously uncontrollable animal urges.  Dems, ruled by stupidity.

Update!  You can see a video and hear the outrage of the Dems by putting God back in the platform.  Go here……  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/05/dnc-god-jerusalem-platform_n_1859200.html?utm_hp_ref=politics

Everyone should watch and listen to this.  Are these people representative of most Americans?  Clearly, there wasn’t 2/3’s  of the people in agreement with the motion to put God back into the platform.  They did it, anyway.   Why?  Because they are ashamed to tell the American people exactly what they are and what they’re for.  If I thought the way they did, I would be, too.

It think it’s funny.  Democrats can’t even be democratic because they are ashamed of what they stand for.

This is amazing stuff. The Dems must know that a lot of Democrat leaning voters are Christians.

If you were a Democrat and a Christian of whatever denomination and you heard how the convention regards Christianity with such contempt would you now turn out to vote?

    Big tactical blunder.

    • suyts says:

Especially in a swing state like North Carolina. This is huge.

    • philjourdan says:

You just mentioned the other shoe (see my comment below, written before reading any comments for the other shoe). But what I do not believe is that religion really matter to most democrats. They take it or leave it. I see a small impact, mostly with independents, but almost none for the base.

  2. leftinbrooklyn says:

So, some of the voting public, even Dems, still kinda like God & Israel…But that kinda goes against our far-left ideology…What to do? What to do?!!

Yes, when a non-reality-based party has to deal with reality, it’s certainly popcorn time.

    • suyts says:

We saw their delegates. Some do, many don’t. Dems are ruled by stupid. 😀

      • leftinbrooklyn says:

There seems to be no further doubt: This party will destroy itself.

      • suyts says:

I think this can have a great impact on American society. If we can be assured the Dems will reduce themselves to something near 1/3 or less of the populous, we can have a 3rd party.

        • leftinbrooklyn says:

The radicals of both sides might force a ‘middle ground’. Though from my viewpoint at least, the left goes much further off the chart than the right

        • suyts says:

Yes, there can be RINO’s and there can be conservatives, and then Dims.

        • ThePhDScientist says:

Haha didn’t the Republicans reduce themselves to 1/3 or less of the populous after becoming the Christian fundamentalist extremist party? No abortion for rape or incest. Reinstate don’t ask, don’t tell with a constitutional amendment declaring their fantasy that somewhere in history religion has defined marriage as a man and a woman? Deciding that tax cuts for the wealthy are more important than investment in the country?

        • feeling incoherent tonight ThePhD?

BTW, do you post comments on the internet under other names? Here? At RealScience?

        • ThePhDScientist says:

Nothing incoherent about the new Christian fundamentalist extremist – an important voting bloc for the right-wing fringe group known as the teabaggers! 🙂

        • suyts says:

There’s nothing new about Christians in the U.S. We were there at the foundation of this country. You know, the fundamental part of this country.

  3. Bruce says:

It gets worse. Apparently the 3rd vote was also against but the chairman announced it passed anyway. What is worse? Obama not getting what he wanted from the delegates? The Won originally approving the draft minus God & Jerusalem? Or democracy on the conference floor being goosestepped in the direction they were supposed to go?

Progressivism is becoming more of a totalitarian religion with every day that passes.

    • suyts says:

There’s nothing to add. Only a reminder that the Democratic party, for political expedience, decided to avert from democracy. In America.

    • ThePhDScientist says:

      Who cares?

      • DirkH says:

They can later turn down the volume of the opposing vote when they show it on MSNBC.

That way, nobody will ask questions.

      • Bruce says:

If something like this happened at the RNC it’d be the scandal of the century, all over the front pages. But I suppose you’re right. No one cares if the Democratic Party live on television behaves in a totalitarian manner and can’t organise their own DNC properly.

        • ThePhDScientist says:

Only highly partisan, extremists consider this a big news story.

        • suyts says:

Ph, this is huge. There isn’t any getting around this. They took God and Jerusalem out of their platform. They put it back in, but only after violating their own rules. It was recorded. The entire world is watching this stuff!!!!

        • Bruce says:

I’m an Aussie. I’m only a member of the Popcorn Party in this election.

        • suyts says:

          The world is watching.

        • ThePhDScientist says:

Only huge to extreme partisans on the right – trust me!

          ThePhDScientist says:
“Only highly partisan, extremists consider this a big news story.”

What I see is that a 50% secular/atheist party has been forced against the will of the delegates to suffer under the brunt of religious dogma and you defend it. For you, this flagrant abuse of power is not a news story.

If they want to be an atheist party, they must be allowed to express it! Atheists, are they not a minority? The rights of a minority have been trampled and you defend it. Hypocrite!

      • ThePhDScientist says:

Well you do have parallels to us, no? Isn’t your Bavaria a bit like our Texas and the crazies there also want to secede from the Union! Go Rick Perry! LoL

        • DirkH says:

Just like Texas, Bavaria has a flourishing economy and keeps the other lands afloat.

You say that’s crazy? We should all be having Greek and Californian economies?

Who will pay for the sex change operations?

        • ThePhDScientist says:

Well California does have what the 7th largest economy in the world? Does your Bavaria also have 25% of the population with absolutely no health care coverage and another 25% who are underinsured? Does Bavaria rank near the bottom of the country in core educational disciplines like math, science? Is the illiteracy rate in Bavaria amongst the highest in the country?

“Well California does have what the 7th largest economy in the world?”

          That’s down from 3rd place.

“Does your Bavaria also have 25% of the population with absolutely no health care coverage and another 25% who are underinsured?”

No. As I said, they are a flourishing economy.

“Does Bavaria rank near the bottom of the country in core educational disciplines like math, science?”

          No.

“Is the illiteracy rate in Bavaria amongst the highest in the country?”

          No.

So wait. You’re telling me that California totally fails educating or insuring its people and that’s why we should emulate it?

I think those marathons really do have adverse effects on the central nervous system.

        • ThePhDScientist says:

I’m talking about Rick Perry’s Texas that you were trying to prop up on a pedestal.

        • DirkH says:

So why do Californian companies relocate to Texas? They’re all crazy as well?

        • ThePhDScientist says:

LoL which companies were those? In N Out Burger opened up new chains in Texas? Because minimum wage jobs are what Rick Perry has been creating down in Texas. And of course in Texas if your family of 3 make more than about 5,000 per year than you’re WAY too rich to qualify for Medicaid – so if mom or baby gets sick (what’s that new Republican saying) YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN.

      • DirkH says:

        ThePhDScientist says:
        “Who cares?”

Wait a moment. The vote of the atheists is ignored and you’re fine with it?

Hypocrite! You must be a Christian!

      • philjourdan says:

Certainly not the democrats about winning the election.

    • suyts says:

      Who cares that Democrats can’t be democratic?…. I don’t know…. voters?

      • ThePhDScientist says:

Who cares about the ridiculous issue of whether or not God or Jerusalem was mentioned in the Democratic party platform. Only crazies would then say that Democrats don’t care about God? Maybe Democrats actually believe in separation of church and state? Maybe Democrats realize not everyone of their constituents are Christians or even believers at all. Maybe they think that God belongs in Church and home and not in public policy documents.

        • Bruce says:

Who cares about the ridiculous issue of whether or not God or Jerusalem was mentioned in the Democratic party platform”?

          Obama?

        • DirkH says:

You’re an atheist and you approve of mentioning God in the platform of your party?
          Hypocrite!

        • ThePhDScientist says:

Meh. He knows that crazies on the right are going to make this non-issue an issue and thus must play the political game. Need evidence (see blog post above). 😉

        • DirkH says:

The video is evidence that democratic procedures are ignored by the democratic party.

      • ThePhDScientist says:

        • DirkH says:

So you’re criticizing procedures at the GOP but you’re fine with the atheists in the Democratic party being stripped off their rights?

        • ThePhDScientist says:

And why in world does anyone think I or anyone else should be held responsible for someone’s poor judgment and promiscuity? Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for free love and whatnot, but if I’m not participating, I’m not paying.

And don’t get me wrong but why should I pay for Viagra so that the aging men who post on this board can continue to get it up and satisfy the Mrs? Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for a healthy sexual relationship in our later years, but if I’m not participating, I’m not paying.

    • suyts says:

I agree, you shouldn’t. Of course, we should distinguish the difference between ability to have intercourse and allowing pregnancy. These are two very different things. But, again, I agree. You should not pay for some person’s erection. I shouldn’t either. No one in this country should.

      • ThePhDScientist says:

Ahh but virtually all health care plans pay for Viagra as male impotence is a real medical condition (though perhaps treatable with exercise and weight loss). And all the boys popping the little blue pills are doing so at an extremely discounted price since insurance is picking up the bulk of the tab.

        • philjourdan says:

That is a lie. Virtually NO health care plans, out side of Union plans, pay for Viagra. That is of course a lie perpetuated by democrats to demonize the opposition to Obamacare since they cannot rationally debate the opposition.

        • kelly liddle says:

          PhD
If you are correct and your opinion is true and if it hasn’t been mentioned by the Republicans then they should have egg on their face. It is amazing to see you get up and argue on the right hand side of the Republicans and fitting in too cosily in this tea baggers blog. Also I think it would be fair to say that not all Republicans are extremists just like not all Democrats are communists but both camps do have their nutters

        • ThePhDScientist says:

You’re an idiot Phil. In Viagra’s first year on the market nearly 1/2 of the prescriptions filled were by being picked up and paid (at least partially) by the man’s health insurance company. Perhaps you believe 50% of men work for a union? Given your allegiance to the teabaggers I suspect that probably is your vision of reality. Cuckoo, Cuckoo!

        • ThePhDScientist says:

Kelly i’m pointing out the constant hypocrisy we have in this white, male, middle-aged dominated party. Viagra ok, birth control pill not ok! Of course a bunch of old men would say these things.

      • suyts says:

So the solution is to encourage abortions? Can you run that logic by me?

        • ThePhDScientist says:

The point is your white, obese, middle-aged American males in the Republican congress have no problem with male sexual health drugs being included as part of standard insurance packages, but demand that the birth control pill for women also be included as part of the standard insurance package and all HELL breaks loose. Is that the misogyny coming through?

        • suyts says:

Well, if equality is required, then mark me down as being for female arousal pills!

Ph, you equivocating is silly. One is a sexual enhancement and the other is reproductive. Likely, most of them can’t reproduce. As far as birth control, don’t we hand out condoms? Aren’t they available to women?

        • ThePhDScientist says:

Haha know you’re silly just like the rest of the Republicans who are ok with male sexual health pills, but not ok with female sexual health pills. “Likely most of them can’t reproduce?” Who are you referring to? The male with Viagra can most certainly reproduce.

If women don’t get birth control pills included as part of their health insurance coverage then that means they are required to pay the full cost out of pocket, which for some poor woman can be quite expensive and a hit to their monthly budget. You also fail to realize that for many woman birth control pills are not just used for “birth control”, but also used for other medical issues such as painful cramps, heavy or irregular periods – conditions which are certainly more pressing than the soft penis of the 60 year old male.

It’s not surprising that the party of the middle-aged, obese, white, MALE doesn’t understand any of these issues.

        • suyts says:

Ph, do you understand how insurance works? And, why do you insist on racial stereotypes?

        • ThePhDScientist says:

I don’t insist on racial stereotypes I’m merely pointing out the new demographics of the GOP. 90% white!

    • DirkH says:

“And don’t get me wrong but why should I pay for Viagra so that the aging men who post on this board can continue to get it up and satisfy the Mrs?”

Don’t you know that erectile dysfunction can be a serious medical and clinical condition? That’s how you defended Fluke for wanting free sex change operations.

We should of course pay for neither. If someone suffers from him/her/it being outfitted with the wrong body parts, there’s two simple solutions
      a) get over yourself
      b) pay for the treatment.

      • ThePhDScientist says:

Is that how it works in Germany? Treatment for medical conditions, especially ones that make conservatives a little uncomfortable, are not covered by medical insurance?

        • DirkH says:

I can’t imagine any condition, no matter how imaginary, for which the German welfare state doesn’t pay with my money. Does that answer your question?

  6. philjourdan says:

On the serious side (I hope you do not take my trash talking on the Football article too seriously):

I disagree with your assessment. If they had left it alone, that would have been the best avenue. There would be some grumbling, but then they have their sheep like Dick Turban doing the spinning and it would have blown over.

But by bringing this to the FOREFRONT, and basically violating their own rules to ram it back in, they have created an issue! Romney probably will not play the video of the fight, but a SuperPac will! It is too perfect and does what Romney never could.

Part of Romney’s problem has been with the fundamentalist Christian sector of the right. They either outright hate Mormons,. or distrust them greatly. But what they hate and distrust more than Mormons are what they consider to be the “godless”. Which the democrats have just announced to the world they are. So while many fundamentalist may have stayed home instead of voting, now they have a reason to vote! And Romney is laughing all the way to 1600 Pennsylvannia Avenue.

    • Scott says:

Your last paragraph may seem pretty dumb to a lot of people, but it’s definitely true. I was pretty loath to vote from Romney at the start, but events like this are pushing me more to his direction.

    • ThePhDScientist says:

Hahaha here comes big boy with his lies again! I guess that last statement is evidence of my homophobia, right big boy? We just have to make another one of those famous 6 degrees of separation arguments?!!!?!

      • ThePhDScientist says:

Oh wait big boy. LOL It just occurred to me are you really trying to make the ARGUMENT that “TEABAGGING” is some how tied to being gay and then somehow is being used as a homophobic slur. Is that it big boy? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH 🙂

Here’s what’s wrong with that argument, notwithstanding it’s 3 degrees of separation.

As I had figure’d no one is sleeping with you and you don’t understand human sexuality, or sexual acts. So let me break it down for you big boy. TEABAGGING has never been a sexual act associated with gay men. Physically two men could “teabag”, but it’s been uniformly described as an act a man performs on a woman.

The argument for homophobia you’re trying to make with that one is just so stupid and ridiculous, I didn’t even see it. It’s like saying: someone who tells you to ‘f*ck off” is homophobic because that is an act performed by gay men.

It’s so incredibly stupid from such an incredibly stupid person – I guess we shouldn’t be surprised.

          a) please inform yourself about the female anatomy. There are a lot more interesting options available if you have access to a female, as I can attest from personal experience.
          b) Please check a dictionary for the definition of “uniformly”. Also look at the counterexamples to your freely invented argument at the urban dictionary.
          c) Is your reasoning as solid as here when you do “science”?

Oh wait big boy. LOL It just occurred to me are you really trying to make the ARGUMENT that “TEABAGGING” is some how tied to being gay and then somehow is being used as a homophobic slur. Is that it big boy? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Now we can add intellectually slow to your descriptors. I made that statement months ago. Indeed, I will repeat it for the slow learners.

Tea Bagging comes from the homosexual community. It is a term they coined to describe a sexual act that was meant to be a compliment to each other. However, you and the other ignorant clowns have turned it into a pejorative. The only way you can think that an accepted homosexual term is a pejorative, is if you think calling some one homosexual is a pejorative. In other words, if you find it wrong to be one. Since you continually use gay terms as pejoratives, you are showing your contempt for gay people and their life styles.

IN other words, yes, you are a homophobic bigot. Just as you are a racist. ANd just as you are a liar. All 3 have been proven using your own words. No one accused you of anything. They merely used your words to demostrate to everyone what you truly are.

    • ThePhDScientist says:

You’re a complete idiot! LOL Tea bagging never came from the homosexual community. You don’t even know any gays so how can you even pretend to know that. You just talk out of your ass nonstop. It truly is hysterical!!! HAHAHAHA. Why don’t you just list that you got that fact at “BLS”..LOL

You’re an idiotic, fool. Tea bagging from the homosexual community.HAHAHAHA! You’re so stupid!

      • philjourdan says:

Sorry, your ignorance is not my problem. The practice may be universal, however, the term came from the Gay community. Try learning – it helps with ignorance.

So you once again display your ignorance, which is a prerequisite I guess for being a racist homophobic bigot. Just because you do not know what you are talking about does not extend to those you converse with.

    • ThePhDScientist says:

Let’s take on the other part of this wholly ridiculous argument by the dumbest poster known to blogging aka PhilJourdan…….”However, you and the other ignorant clowns have turned it into a pejorative. The only way you can think that an accepted homosexual term is a pejorative, is if you think calling some one homosexual is a pejorative. In other words, if you find it wrong to be one. Since you continually use gay terms as pejoratives, you are showing your contempt for gay people and their life styles.”

No Phil we have not turned it into a pejorative. People wearing Tea Bags on the brim of their hat and calling themselves tea partiers/baggers while saying crazy things have turned it into a pejorative. Again Big Boy just doesn’t seem to get it. The funny part of the tea bagging is that it describes a sex act and now these fools glowingly adopt the term for themselves. Remember big boy lots of words in the English language have multiple meanings. Many people find the sex act of tea bagging far less repulsive than they do the crazy’s marching around with tea bags on their hats and rifles in their hands.

Perhaps this will better clear it up for you Big Boy. You see if i tell you to F*ck Off that doesn’t mean I take any issue with people who f*ck. It simply means the word has more than one definition – 1) a sex act AND 2) dismissal – a way of saying you’re a complete idiot who needs to get a clue!

      • philjourdan says:

Ah, another childish ad hominem – dumbest poster ever. You are a source of great amusement since you have yet to refute a single fact I have presented, and while using silly pejoratives to describe your impotence, you continually come back for more. ONe can only wonder until one realizes that you simply lie.

Yes phd, you use it as a pejorative. You are not complimenting Tea Party people when you use the term, you are trying to attack the messenger, not the message. That is because you cannot attack the message as you realize it is inherently truthful. So you turn to your childish school yard tricks and try to think of the worst ad hominem to use against the people you impotently flail against. And unlike others, you reach for a gay term to use as a pejorative, which means you find the gay lifestyle to be worthy of pejoratives. Which makes you a homophobic bigot.

It is the same as calling some one a ‘stupid n-word’. That makes you racist. You however, continually use the juvenile term “boy” to refer to blacks – a term that is hurtful, not informative. Again, a pejorative.

So by your own words you demonstrate that you are a racist homophobic bigot. There is no need to use either term as neither term has been entered into any discussion for any factual reason. You use them merely because your limited intelligence, combined with your child like rage, can think of nothing else to say.

Perhaps you believe 50% of men work for a union? Given your allegiance to the teabaggers I suspect that probably is your vision of reality. Cuckoo, Cuckoo!

There are several problems with your petty tirade, let’s start at the beginning:
#1 – No one said at the beginning.
#2 – Half is not most
#3 – I clearly said that “union health insurance”. So some do cover it, MOST do not.
#4 – Given that it is very expensive, MOST men would forgo it (not enough money) if insurance did not pay for it.
#5 – Homophobic rants have nothing to do with the issue.
#6 – The figure of 1/2 that you put out has no sourcing or backing or relevency to either your original statement, or my correction to you.

I would say your description of yourself is a bit harsh, but you can call yourself anything you want.

Kelly i’m pointing out the constant hypocrisy we have in this white, male, middle-aged dominated party. Viagra ok, birth control pill not ok! Of course a bunch of old men would say these things.

No, you are merely lying as I just proved.
#1 – I have yet to see you show where Republicans are against Birth Control
#2 – I have yet to see where you show that Republicans are demanding free Viagra.
#3 – You have yet to show why over 50% of elected Hispanics are republicans, and how that makes them white.

I don’t insist on racial stereotypes I’m merely pointing out the new demographics of the GOP. 90% white

That is also a lie spread by the democrats. The fact remains, a majority of latino elected officials are indeed republicans. But that flies against talking points, so I guess you do not know that.

LoL Is that so fat boy? And the fact remains Latinos vote Democratic by overwhelming majorities!

      • DirkH says:

What is it with you and your hatred of the obese?

        • ThePhDScientist says:

Not the obese just Rush Limbaugh Jourdan.

        • DirkH says:

And the sin of gluttony, right? And you’re trying frantically to destroy every fat molecule in your body. You’re running 100s of kilometers to achieve that goal. And you’re supporting Bloomberg’s ban on bigger than 0.5 litre soda cups.

Now, maintaining a healthy weight is one thing. Going on a weight loss crusade is another. What I see is that you’re on at least three crusades.

          I’d call that a psychopathology.

        • ThePhDScientist says:

What DirkH you won’t join me at Chick-FilA to protest gluttony? I’m calling for a ban on fat marriage as well! DirkH don’t you know that gluttony is destroying the country you so wish to be a part of?!? Gluttony is now our biggest public health issue and treating its related diseases consumes the majority of our health dollars. DirkH did you know that two gluttons who get married have a more than 100 fold higher chance of having offspring who also become gluttons? Did you know that God speaks about the sins of gluttony in many, many passages? It is in fact a cardinal sin!

DirkH won’t you help us stop these gluttonous Americans trying to marry and continue this vicious, sinful cycle?

        • philjourdan says:

He is probably fat himself and has been called a fatty all his life – hence is insistance on projecting his problems onto others.

        • DirkH says:

“It is in fact a cardinal sin! ”

          Your source?

        • DirkH says:

“Gluttony is now our biggest public health issue and treating its related diseases consumes the majority of our health dollars.”

My Keynes tells me that that is a stimulus for the economy. If Obama’s economic ideas were valid, obesity alone should create the biggest economic boom in history in the USA.

Imagine all the extra heavy rescue vehicles, helicopters, staircases, elevators, everything. Trillions of economic activity!

Please clarify this apparent contradiction in your thinking.

My guess would be Michelle Obama.

      • philjourdan says:

non-sequitur. I said nothing about who votes for whom. The subject was the party make up. I can vote for a democrat without being a democrat, so that is irrelevant. Since the majority of elected latinos are republicans, it shows both your ignorance, and your lies.

Still with the childish ad hominems as well. You are not peter pan no matter how much you try to be.

    LOL!
#1 – You have never met me, so you have idea if I am fat or slim.
#2 – I do not quote nor mention Rush Limbaugh.
#3 – I am glad to see I still occupy your head. Apparently, your inability to refute my facts, or even carry on an intelligent conversation is cause for a great deal of angst in you. That is the highest compliment I have ever been paid.

What DirkH you won’t join me at Chick-FilA to protest gluttony?

You going to berate another innocent college kid who is trying to earn money for their education?

I would have thought you would have learned from your initial experience that the only one made the fool in that episode was you. But I guess we can look forward to another youtube episode of you being a bully.

So by your own words you demonstrate that you are a racist homophobic bigot.
    <<

In addition to being a racist homophobic bigot, pH is also anti-military. Years of leftist hatred of the military, its customs, and its traditions have confused them. The DNC talking points tell them they must pretend to support the troops, but that underlying hatred keeps getting in the way.

Therefore, we have pretend rhetoric from leftists, and real deeds from people like former President Bush. Bush hosts a wounded warrior weekend several times a year at his ranch. The troops know the difference between fake support and the real stuff.
