LOL At The Left’s Desperation! My Wife’s Cousin Thrice Removed Husband’s Niece Who’s Boyfriend Knows A Guy ……

Oh my, it’s getting so desperate that they’ve unleashed the “sin” connection to Bain’s investments!

image

While it’s clear they are attempting to move religions to worry about one another vs the godless left, what this will to is convince the center that Mitt isn’t an ideologue.

This is hilarious!

Here’s how they frame this…….

Though they are not nearly as revealing as the years of tax returns he refuses to release might be, they still have enough information and detail to make Romney uncomfortable.  They show he has money indirectly invested in companies on which the Mormon church might frown and also highlight the lengths to which his complicated investments are shielded from taxes.

LMAO!!!!!  Yes, this is all very uncomfortable!!! AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!  Here’s what Gawker revealed, now…. be sure to shield your eyes a bit, because this is just sordid!!!

Romney is invested in Sankaty High Yield Partners II LP, a debt fund affiliated with the private-equity firm Bain Capital, which Romney co-founded. Sankaty has loaned money to a variety of questionable companies, including the now-embattled Las Vegas Sands Corp., according to documents obtained by Gawker.

Las Vegas Sands, which is owned by famed Republican donor Sheldon Adelson, is currently facing multiple Justice Department inquiries. The first focuses on possible violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, a U.S. anti-bribery law, related to the company’s casinos in Macau, China. The second is probing allegations that Las Vegas Sands failed to report millions of dollars of possibly laundered money transferred to its casinos by two big-time gamblers.

Romney’s link to the Adelson-owned corporation is also notable because Adelson has become one of the primary bankrollers of the Republican party in recent years. The man, who some refer to as the Republican George Soros, has spent $41.1 million so far to oust President Obama and other Democrats, according to the New Yorker, and he’s promised to spend as much as a hundred million dollars to achieve his goal.

But Romney’s connection to Sankaty, the fund that loaned money to Las Vegas Sands, isn’t exactly direct. In 2011, Romney’s IRA held a stake worth between $250,000 and $500,000 in the company, and the Ann Romney Blind Trust held a stake worth zero, according to Gawker. In 2006, the Ann Romney trust held a stake worth more than $100,000 in the company, and Romney’s IRA stake was worth somewhere between $500,000 and $1 million.

This is how they finish!!!

The Mormon church opposes gambling, including lotteries, and encourages others to join the church in “opposing the legalization and government sponsorship of any form of gambling,” according to its website. The church also offers programs to help its members quit smoking.

While Romney’s money is linked to businesses that run counter to the Mormon church’s values, he has also donated substantial cash to the church itself. In 2010 and 2011, Romney and his wife Ann donated $4 million, about 10 percent of their more than $40 million in income.

The problem the left has is that the imbeciles that voted last election aren’t voting this time.  The ones that are understand IRA investments and mutual funds and neat things like that.  The desperation is palpable.

I am sorry, however I was raised in Las Vegas and I can personally say that many Mormons worked in the Gaming Industry.
    This is hilarious!

Lol, yeh I saw that! I’m going to have to save it for tomorrow… (beer made it hard to write this post!) But, yes, that’s a jewel. Law enforcement officers have to sue to enforce the law.

Bain in the @sses is what the democritus will keep feeling if they keep this up! 😆

  3. miked1947 says:

I was involved in the “Sin” industry also. When I was 18 I was working at the Sahara Hotel and a year later I was in charge of the mail room at the Flamingo Hotel.
Before I retired many of the hotel casinos were my customers.
Yes the Sands was one of those.

Well, if it’s confession time, I once bought a lottery ticket. As a Baptist, I think it’s prolly not good. 😦 OTOH, I once played poker…. (not in Vegas) and won lots of money!!! (for the IRS, clearly I was referencing Monopoly money or something.) :D

      • Me says:

Me too! And I also went to a Nudie bar a couple times. 😆

      • suyts says:

Oh noooeeesssss!!!!! Me, that makes me sad. You can now never be a Republican president. 😦 Not only that, the people who will run your grand children’s mutual fund, can now never be a Republican president. 😦 Their wive’s families can now never be a Republican president,

Someone had such a promising career. 😦

        • Me says:

Not born there anyway, so it’s a non issue! 😆

        • suyts says:

LMAO!!! That didn’t stop the current prez!!!

          AHAHAHAHA Thanks for the set-up!!!!

        • Me says:

Well you know, 😉 I do wnat I can! 😆

        • suyts says:

Yeh, apparently, you can still be prez, just not Repub prez. You’ll have to infiltrate the left….. sorry about that. The showers you’ll have to take will make you look like a prune, but, you can be prez! Save us all some trouble and get your pdf writer today!!!

        • Me says:

So all it will just cost me is, well, me soul then, so I’ll just be a puppet with someone else pulling the strings, and I’ll be reading from a teleprompter constantly, and pretend to be something I’m not. No thanks, I don’t want that kind nostalgia 😆

        • suyts says:

That’s the thing about being prez, apparently it’s the coolest, but, if you’ve no moral compass, then you’re deemed a SCoaMF, much like Jimmy Carter.

        • Me says:

          Yep I hear ya!

I needed a good laugh today and here it is.

Proper assignment of accountability is not something these brain dead people understand. That they foment over such silly nonsense is truly laughable.

Good lands, I just had a horrible thought. The investment company that manages my IRA might have invested in a green company at some time in the past or maybe in the future that makes royal profits by bilking taxpayers through federal subsidies. That’s it! I’m pulling all of my money out of the banks (who also give loans to questionable companies) and investment companies and bury it all in the back yard in Mason jars. Only then will I avoid being such a shameless hypocrite. LOL!

  5. suyts says:

Oh, sure, all fun and games and then you have to mention the Constitution. They’ve ( my justices) have debased it to a point where the words written and the interpretation are almost mutually exclusive from each other.

There are only a few things which I hate more than the debasing of my Constitution.

Five myths about Paul Ryan’s budget
By Peter Orszag, Published: August 23

I’ve worked closely with Rep. Paul Ryan. He’s an honest and amiable guy. In part because of his winning personality, Ryan, Mitt Romney’s running mate in the presidential election, has convinced many in Washington that his budget blueprint is a serious proposal for solving our long-term fiscal problems. Unfortunately, it’s not. Let’s dig into the asterisks of Ryan’s plan and unearth the fine print.

    1. Paul Ryan’s budget would reduce the deficit.

The Ryan budget is a Potemkin village: It looks good from afar but is just a facade. The Congressional Budget Office has estimated that the plan would cut the public debt almost in half as a share of the economy by 2040. Sounds good, right?

Take a closer look, and you’ll see that the Ryan budget rests on three pillars that rely on capping and punting — limiting spending to a certain level but providing no specifics on how to achieve that number.

    • suyts says:

Ph, why do you bring quotes from people who make definitive proclamations about Ryan’s budget and then in the same breath they say,“but providing no specifics….”

Which is it? Do they know or do they not know? Or are they talking out of their posterior? I greatly suspect the later.

      • ThePhDScientist says:

Haha oh we’re still sticking with the ignorance I see. Paul Ryan has a completely unworkable blue print, but since he’s conveniently left out the most important details we’re going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

That’s how you select your President? Very forward thinking and scientific! Impressive!?!

No one can! It did not last long enough to be measured! The democrats unanimously killed it!

  8. ThePhDScientist says:

    Sure – see here: http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/Overview

Will it make much difference to you in Germany? 😉

Let’s be honest girls…It doesn’t matter who wins the White House both are going to run huge deficits. Romney/Ryan will run deficits in order to cut taxes the same way Bush did. They claim they’ll pay for this by reducing spending and cutting deductions, but those are going to be a political nightmare virtually guaranteed not to be on the scale necessary for substantial debt reduction. Their policies will disproportionately favor the wealthy and the corporations, which is not at all what the economy needs to get moving again. Corporations aren’t hurting for any cash right now, nor are the wealth. They’re hurting for middle class customers!!!

    • philjourdan says:

Actually, lying and claiming facts not in evidence is not a debate tactic. It is your opinion (and since it is a lie, a hateful opinion).

All we know about Romney is that he has stated his tax plan is revenue Neutral. So we do not know that it will increase or decrease the deficit, but if we go on the only facts available, we find that it will do neither.

We know that Obama has no plans to cut spending or to cut taxes. We also know that he increased spending by over 25% in his first year alone. So we know he HAS massively increased the deficit. While he promises to lower it, so far he has not done so.

Those are the only facts. The rest is opinion, or in your case, “hateful” lies.

He’s the “social media president,” having been the first one in the modern era to take full advantage of the ways the Internet can connect politicians to people. But a new study reveals that 70% of President Obama’s 19 million twitter followers are completely fake.

President Obama’s Twitter account has 18.8 million followers — but more than half of them really don’t exist, according to reports.

A new Web tool has determined that 70% of Obama’s crowd includes “fake followers,” The New York Times reports in a story about how Twitter followers can be purchased.

“The practice has become so widespread that StatusPeople, a social media management company in London, released a Web tool last month called the Fake Follower Check that it says can ascertain how many fake followers you and your friends have,” the Times reports.

“Fake accounts tend to follow a lot of people but have few followers,” said Rob Waller, a founder of StatusPeople. “We then combine that with a few other metrics to confirm the account is fake.”

The campaign denies having purchased any of them, but it’s certainly funny to think that the overwhelming majority of Obama’s Twitter followers don’t actually exist!”

Yeh, I’m still thinking about writing on that.

      • kim2ooo says:

Maybe….on the angle of how long has Mr Obama been telling lies?

“Obama said he would have voted for that bill if it had been like the federal bill when, in fact, he voted against it when it was like the federal bill,” Freddoso said. “So he’s been lying about it the whole time.”
