What mind numbing jack wagon thought this was a good idea? Says to self….. “I know, I’ll have impressionable young people pledge their allegiance…. TO ME!!!!!” I can’t help but think that the educators here don’t really understand what pledging allegiance means. Well, I hope they don’t. But, then, that would mean they’re woefully ignorant and have no business educating our young people. So, I kinda hope they do know what it means. Well, no, I can’t hope for that…… will here’s a copy of the young people’s pledge……..
“I pledge allegiance to Asher Holmes and the Marlboro Township School District and to the teachers who help us learn all that we need to know for the future. We promise to respect ourselves and others, to try our best and always be proud of our schools.”
Read more: here. Apparently Asher Holmes is the name of the school.

- feudal obligation: the feudal obligation of a vassal to a liege lord
So, a bunch of vapid educators got together and entirely rendered the “Pledge of Allegiance of the United States” entirely meaningless to young citizens of this country. Or, they’ve elevated themselves to the position equal and above this nation demanding fealty from their young subjects.
Yes, we really, really, need to hire more teachers…….. right after we get rid of these mental midgets we have now.
The pledge was written by a fourth grade teacher. Superintendent David Abbott said Kaufman’s complaint was the first he had received pertaining to the optional pledge.
“Frankly, I don’t see anything wrong with it at all,” Abbott replied. “I know it is very valued by the kids, I know it’s valued by the staff, I know it’s valued by most of the parents, and so if you have trouble with it, you don’t have to do it and your child doesn’t have to do it.”
Start with the dismissal of the fourth grade teacher and the Superintendent. And, then find any of the other educators, who either don’t know what a “pledge of allegiance” is, or possess a very sick and creepy way of indoctrinating young people. But, either way, they’ve got to go.
They had these children take a solemn oath that they would remain loyal to and be subjects of the teachers and school.
