A Repost Prodded By Climate Depot

I’m going to try something a bit different, today.  In the past, I’ve expressed my disdain for redundant posts, which essentially state the same thing as something else I’ve just posted.   I like to keep the content fresh and ahead of the curve.  I think I’ve been fairly effective at that.

However, as we’ve also noted, the climate alarmist “science” really hasn’t changed since the late 80s….. other than simply making stuff up and artificially making up numbers.  So, keeping fresh content in that regard is very difficult.  Additionally, I believe a message is more effective when the thought is reinforced with a different perspective.  This was evident when Anthony added my post at the end of Steve McIntyre’s.  Unfortunately, after I wrote about the dendro, I started working on a small series of posts I called “How I Know”.  I think much of it was missed because of the increased attention to the tree ring post.

Today at at Climate Depot we’re met with the headline, ….

Czech President: Václav Klaus on the global warming debate: ‘They have succeeded in establishing the religion of environmentalism as the official religion of Western society’   (Be sure to click on the link!)

We see President Klaus hits on many of the same themes we do here.  Specifically about the establishment of a religion.  So, for the people who didn’t catch it, and to reinforce what president Klaus is stating, I’ll reproduce my post, How I Know The Climate/Enviro Movement Is Not Science Based, But Theological

Many of us have watched in awe of the zealotry the enviro-alarmists possess.  They have always had a quality of religious fervor which seemed only rivaled by the most extreme Jihadist.  Rather than dispassionate discourse about the central issues of discussion, most often than not we see their extreme passions.

To be perfectly honest, many of us Christians should be ashamed.  These people have invented a faux religion but have expressed more passion and faith in their belief then what most of us muster in simple expression of our love for Jesus Christ.  Our message should be equal and more in love, than theirs is of hate.

In my view, of all of the quotes that I have shown you all today, this collection alarms me the most.

They Have Created A Religion

“The fate of mankind, as well as religion, depends on the emergence of a new faith in the future. Armed with such a faith, we might find it possible to resanctify the earth.”—-Al Gore, former U.S. vice president

“I envisage the prinicles of the Earth Charter to be a new form of the ten commandments. They lay the foundation for a sustainable global earth community.”——Mikhail Gorbachev, communist and former leader of U.S.S.R

The spirit of our planet is stirring! The Consciousness of Goddess Earth is now rising against all odds, in spite of millennia of suppression, repression and oppression inflicted on Her by a hubristic and misguided humanity. The Earth is a living entity, a biological organism with psychic and spiritual dimensions.”—–Prabhath P., environmentalist and member of Intuition Network

“The greatest hope for the Earth lies in religionists and scientists uniting to awaken the world to its near fatal predicament and then leading mankind out of the bewildering maze of international crises into the future Utopia of humanist hope.”—-Club of Rome

“All life on Earth is our kin. And in an act of generosity, our relatives create the four sacred elements for us.”…”We have become a force of nature…Not long ago, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, drought, forest fires, even earthquakes and volcanic explosions were accepted as “natural disasters or “acts of God.” But now, we have joined God, powerful enough to influence these events.”—-David Suzuki, genetic scientist

“Little by little a planetary prayer book is thus being composed by an increasingly united humanity seeking its oneness. Once again, but this time on a universal scale, humankind is seeking no less than its reunion with ‘divine,’ it’s transcendence into higher forms of life.”——Robert Muller, former UN Assistant Secretary General

“It is the responsibility of each human being today to choose between the force of darkness and the force of light. We must therefore transform our attitudes, and adopt a renewed respect for the superior laws of Divine Nature.”——Maurice Strong

Nature is my god. To me, nature is sacred; trees are my temples and forests are my cathedrals.”——Mikhail Gorbachev, communist and former leader of U.S.S.R

“I pledge allegiance to the Earth and all its sacred parts. Its water, land and living things and all its human hearts.” ——Global Education Associates, an environmental education group—–Their daily Earth pledge

“The earth is literally our mother, not only because we depend on her for nurture and shelter but even more because the human species has been shaped by her in the womb of evolution. Our salvation depends upon our ability to create a religion of nature.“- Rene Dubos, board member Planetary Citizens French scientist, environmentalist, author of the maxim “Think globally, act locally .

Reblogged this on Climate Ponderings and commented:
“Their ideas are the ideas of ideologues, not of scientists or climatologists.”

At times redundancy is needed IMO….we are bombarded with it daily by ideologists.

Exactly. That’s one of the reasons they were so effective at their messaging. We should counter their serial deception with equal quantity of messages of truth.
