Gleick’s Institute Clears Gleick

Fakegate, the gift that keeps giving.

Lol, now this is a shocker.  Gleick’s Institute….. a group he founded and ran says he didn’t forge the HI documents.  I’m breathlessly awaiting their “proof”.

Gleick, founder of the Pacific Institute and a well-regarded water expert, admitted and apologised for using deception to obtain internal Heartland documents last February.

He has been on leave from the Institute pending an external investigation into the unauthorised release of the documents. That investigation is now complete, and the conclusions will be made public, the Guardian has learned.

The rest of the gibberish can be read here.

This simply illustrates the willingness of the media to shill and whore for this totalitarian Marxist effort.  It also demonstrates their continued serial dishonesty and lack of any firm ethical grounding.

Let’s pretend that someone else really did pass this forged document to Gleick.  He’s somehow exonerated for passing it off as genuine?  It took me all of 2 minutes to determine it was a fake document.  Glieck is somehow exonerated by engaging in acts of deception and violating federal and state laws?  There is absolutely no reason to believe what these people have to say today, or yesterday, or tomorrow.  They’ve shown nothing but a complete willingness to lie, subvert, and deceive.

Personally, I hope these assclowns all stick together on this.  Any inclusion of Gleick on anything simply furthers to destroy it’s credibility…… as if they had any left.

It doesn’t matter what is true, it only matters what people believe is true.”—Paul Watson, a founder of Greenpeace

screen capture this while you can….they changed it since this morning

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2012/may/20/peter-gleick-cleared-heartland?newsfeed=true

The leaked Heartland documents included a list of donors and plans to instil doubts in schoolchildren on the existence of climate change.

Heartland also accused Gleick of forging the document. Earlier this month, Heartland published findings of computer forensics experts that the memo did not appear to be a genuine strategy document.

      damn…too late…now it’s showing the new one
I don’t know how to use that wayback thing…and don’t know if it could have grabbed it anyway

    • suyts says:

It’s still showing what you copied, but, I’ve got it captured.

    • ilma630 says:

Nope. It’s gone! Notice though how it’s the Guardian that carried this. Entirely predictable for them to try and exonerate themselves too. Surprised though the BBC didn’t carry it too.

  2. suyts says:

No sources, no quotes……. I’m wondering if Suzanne Goldenberg didn’t just make this up.

    • Latitude says:

I’m waiting too……watching the Euro right now though…..this is not looking good for us
If greece bails, that’s the open door for more countries to bail too…..

    • suyts says:

Unless Germany caves, Greece will be cut lose rather than bail. They will accept the money as long as the Eurozone gives it to them.

The question is, can the banks withstand the default? And will Spain Italy and France do what is necessary or will they continue to pretend people don’t have to do anything for money?

      • Latitude says:

that’s the worry right now…..If greece bails/is cut loose, the rest of them will say “we can too”……this is not going to sit well with Germany, they have consistently polled way way against it….there will be a big push for Merkel to pull out
That’s the problem…Germany…they still have to prop up Spain, Belgium, Italy, France..all non producers with huge problems

      • suyts says:

If I was Germany, I’d drop them like a bad habit.

        • Latitude says:

          but they’re in a catch22…..
They are propping up the whole euro/EU…..but that’s most of their customers too
If the EU falls…there goes their customer base….and they could be next

        • suyts says:

It is true they’d lose much of their customer base, but as Dirk (i think) pointed out, they’ve got a huge slush fund to draw upon to tide them over. They have a good industrial base, so while they’d feel some pain, I sure they can get over this. It’s going to be either that or try swimming with an anvil tied to your leg.

        • Latitude says:

I thought they sold us on this whole world economy bull crap to avoid this very thing………..

        • suyts says:

It’s the stupid globalization which is causing this. The Eurozone is a great illustration as to why this stuff is toxic. There’s no buffer to separate anyone from all that happens. If it was just Greece, then nbd, but because of all of the interconnections of globalization, now everything effects everything.

I tweeted Suzanne Goldenberg , author of the piece.

@suzyji read your Gleick article…. no sources for article? Did you and Gleick just invent this, too?

A famous war correspondent, Ms, Suzanne Goldenberg, who gets boycotted by Israel
    http://www.fromoccupiedpalestine.org/taxonomy/term/180?page=1

becomes the USA Environmental reporter for the Guardian?

Does this sound like a career “STEP UP”? Or a punishment?

She clearly, loves war correspondence, as can be seen in this [ dated 2012 ], http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/video/2012/apr/10/suzanne-goldenberg-frontline-reporting-video1

Reblogged this on Climate Ponderings and commented:
    AMAZING!

  6. kim2ooo says:

    Sorry for the double post

  7. kim2ooo says:

Something seems to have happened around 2006 when she was war corresponding…and after that put on Environmental.

You don’t reward a famous war correspondent this way, I would think?

  8. kim2ooo says:

Dono…BUT something happened. AND it seems to have been a career buster?

  9. kim2ooo says:

AND A career buster coming from the Guardian…………… which hmmmm. Would be pretty drastic

And then there were none. I caught the WUWT story and noted the similarity between Janet Cooke and Suzanne Goldberg. The difference is I guess “Jimmy” was not big bucks, so Janet was canned. Suzanne is still printing lies.
