How I Know The Climate/Enviro Movement Is Not Science Based, But Theological

Many of us have watched in awe of the zealotry the enviro-alarmists possess.  They have always had a quality of religious fervor which seemed only rivaled by the most extreme Jihadist.  Rather than dispassionate discourse about the central issues of discussion, most often than not we see their extreme passions.

To be perfectly honest, many of us Christians should be ashamed.  These people have invented a faux religion but have expressed more passion and faith in their belief then what most of us muster in simple expression of our love for Jesus Christ.  Our message should be equal and more in love, than theirs is of hate.

In my view, of all of the quotes that I have shown you all today, this collection alarms me the most.

They Have Created A Religion

“The fate of mankind, as well as religion, depends on the emergence of a new faith in the future. Armed with such a faith, we might find it possible to resanctify the earth.”—-Al Gore, former U.S. vice president

“I envisage the prinicles of the Earth Charter to be a new form of the ten commandments. They lay the foundation for a sustainable global earth community.”——Mikhail Gorbachev, communist and former leader of U.S.S.R

The spirit of our planet is stirring! The Consciousness of Goddess Earth is now rising against all odds, in spite of millennia of suppression, repression and oppression inflicted on Her by a hubristic and misguided humanity. The Earth is a living entity, a biological organism with psychic and spiritual dimensions.”—–Prabhath P., environmentalist and member of Intuition Network

“The greatest hope for the Earth lies in religionists and scientists uniting to awaken the world to its near fatal predicament and then leading mankind out of the bewildering maze of international crises into the future Utopia of humanist hope.”—-Club of Rome

“All life on Earth is our kin. And in an act of generosity, our relatives create the four sacred elements for us.”…”We have become a force of nature…Not long ago, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, drought, forest fires, even earthquakes and volcanic explosions were accepted as “natural disasters or “acts of God.” But now, we have joined God, powerful enough to influence these events.”—-David Suzuki, genetic scientist

“Little by little a planetary prayer book is thus being composed by an increasingly united humanity seeking its oneness. Once again, but this time on a universal scale, humankind is seeking no less than its reunion with ‘divine,’ it’s transcendence into higher forms of life.”——Robert Muller, former UN Assistant Secretary General

“It is the responsibility of each human being today to choose between the force of darkness and the force of light. We must therefore transform our attitudes, and adopt a renewed respect for the superior laws of Divine Nature.”——Maurice Strong

Nature is my god. To me, nature is sacred; trees are my temples and forests are my cathedrals.”——Mikhail Gorbachev, communist and former leader of U.S.S.R

“I pledge allegiance to the Earth and all its sacred parts. Its water, land and living things and all its human hearts.” ——Global Education Associates, an environmental education group—–Their daily Earth pledge

“The earth is literally our mother, not only because we depend on her for nurture and shelter but even more because the human species has been shaped by her in the womb of evolution. Our salvation depends upon our ability to create a religion of nature.“- Rene Dubos, board member Planetary Citizens French scientist, environmentalist, author of the maxim “Think globally, act locally

      You changes your personality!
Now I have to get used to a new you.
It is like you changed the color of your hair! 😉

You have done a good job of compiling your lists and the comments you added were right on. It was more of a reading experience than a need to attempt to contribute any more to what I saw as a decent summary.

  4. ThePhDScientist says:

It’s funny that you think climate science is make believe alarmist and then you call it religion.

Would that be akin to Catholics and say birth control and gay marriage?

    • miked1947 says:

Climate Pathological Science is one of the various beliefs of the Chicken Little Brigade Religion.
They worship any type of destruction and claim humans are the cause of that destruction. They create fantasies of destruction where none exist to justify their beliefs and to convert more Sheeple to their tribe. One of the sure signs of a true believer is their affliction with Crainialanalinsirtitis, more commonly referred to as CHIA!
The question is are you a card carrying member of CLiBR or are you a novice trying to pass their initiation Hazing by baring your unworthy thought before the realists of this planet.
If you want to be a worthy CLiBR you need to display how deeply you have CHIA. You are getting there but I would say you have a way to go. The CHIA part shows promise but you need to work on providing more believable fantasies because what you spew lacks the semilogical premise that shows the sign of a true member of the CLiBR high priest hood. Brother Al, or Big Jim can give you lessons but you have to find the spiritual awareness within your self. Your heart just is not fully in your words, and you lack the required imagination that is the sign of those elevated to the priesthood in CLiBR.

Now for the second part of your rant:
Birth control goes against all the teaching of the bible that say sexual intercourse is for the purpose of creating life, reproducing humanity and bringing more souls into this world. It is not about satisfying the base desires of the physical human body, as the main purpose for our existence is to devote our minds to spiritual awareness, chasing base desires keeps us away from our goal of enlightenment.
The main purpose of marriage is protection of the family unit, Husband, Wife and Children that were begat during the union of the Husband and Wife, Birth Control and Gay Marriage devalues the sanctity of marriage. Marriage is the joining of two souls in the name of the Lord to form a family devoted to spiritual growth following the teachings of the church. Anything less is a farce that mocks religious beliefs, no matter what earthly religion a person claims to follow.
I could say lots more but some would think I am a religious fanatic, if I did that.
Any TRUE Religious group would scorn everything you promote, no matter what name the apply to their faith.

      • ThePhDScientist says:

And any scientist might think you’re a FOS ideological fanatic…

      • kim2ooo says:

PhD seems to be heavy invested Into this “gay thing” …PhD can not post without eventually bringing up gay marriage.

        Reaction Formation?

        • ThePhDScientist says:

Haha – ooh are we name calling now? LoL I just love biblical based bigotry – it’s my favorite, most entertaining kind! And I love the non-scientists who are self-identified certifiable experts when it comes to climate change denialism, but are literal believers in the bible. Is that irony? Or oxymoronic?

      • kim2ooo says:

Phd can’t differentiate between “name calling” and observations.:)

So much for their Science Credibility.
