That was a quote from someone…… or close to it, I can’t find the reference. But, it is valid. I wasn’t going to write about this, but it’s pissing me off.
First of all, my sympathies, thoughts and prayers go out to the loved ones of Trayvon Martin.
To all of those people fanning the fires of racial hatred, STFU! To the POTUS, who gives a shit if he looks like he can be your son…….. HE WAS SOMEBODY’S SON! STFU!!! What kind of asshole says that shit? To the asshole T. J. McCormack of Fox…… you stupid, sorry, sack of shit. This isn’t a left/right issue. STFU!
To all the junior detectives and legal scholars…… you weren’t there. STFU. Everyone needs to take a deep breath, look around, and ask yourselves if in your demand for justice if you are doing justice. Many people have accused Zimmerman of acting in a form of vigilantism, and maybe he did. Is this any better?
We have local, state, and federal authorities looking into this. If the facts of the case call for an arrest, then he’ll be arrested. If some lunatic thinks the feds will run cover for some pinhead in a murder of a young black man, then they’re delusional and need to check themselves into the nearest mental hospital. There’s nothing else to do outside of taking the law into our own hands and performing injustice of our own.
The racial activists are engaging to raise their profile and incite racial strife. The scumbag journalists are doing exactly the same thing. I am appalled at this muckraking. I expect this shit from Kos or HuffPo, but Fox and CNN? Or any other supposedly responsible journalist? WTF? Are these people not going to be happy until there’s a race war?
In this particular case, apparently, there’s an argument for self-defense. Apparently, Zimmerman was bloodied. So, there was a physical altercation. Now, that, in itself doesn’t mean anything. He could still be guilty of murder, or maybe it was self-defense. I don’t know, and neither does anyone else reading this. Apparently, there were a few witnesses, but what they witnessed, seems to be in question. I don’t know and neither do you.
Justice? I’ll say something else about this. Everyday, someone is shot and killed. Everyday. Sometimes the killers are arrested and found guilty of murder and either sent to prison or executed. Sometimes they are not. For those with tunnel vision, I Googled “shot and killed today”. Outside of Martin, I got this…….. and much, much more.
A veteran police officer died Monday after he was shot in the face at the scene of a home robbery in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn, in what Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg called a “horrible, depraved criminal attack.”
These were all people. Fellow citizens, loved ones, someone’s son, daughter, mother, father……. oh, and they all were of a race as well. Are we to the point of accepting killing if the killer and the dead were of a specific racial mix? I wonder, if the Hispanic Zimmerman was named Lopez, would there be this much vitriol? If the shooter was black would people care less? Why?
This is a sick and disgusting display. I’m incredibly disheartened by all of this.
