Those Who Demand Justice Should Do Justice

That was a quote from someone…… or close to it, I can’t find the reference.  But, it is valid.  I wasn’t going to write about this, but it’s pissing me off.

First of all, my sympathies, thoughts and prayers go out to the loved ones of Trayvon Martin.

To all of those people fanning the fires of racial hatred, STFU!  To the POTUS, who gives a shit if he looks like he can be your son…….. HE WAS SOMEBODY’S SON!  STFU!!!  What kind of asshole says that shit?  To the asshole T. J. McCormack of Fox…… you stupid, sorry, sack of shit.  This isn’t a left/right issue.  STFU!

To all the junior detectives and legal scholars…… you weren’t there.  STFU.  Everyone needs to take a deep breath, look around, and ask yourselves if in your demand for justice if you are doing justice.  Many people have accused Zimmerman of acting in a form of vigilantism, and maybe he did.  Is this any better?

We have local, state, and federal authorities looking into this.  If the facts of the case call for an arrest, then he’ll be arrested.  If some lunatic thinks the feds will run cover for some pinhead in a murder of a young black man, then they’re delusional and need to check themselves into the nearest mental hospital.  There’s nothing else to do outside of taking the law into our own hands and performing injustice of our own.

The racial activists are engaging to raise their profile and incite racial strife.  The scumbag journalists are doing exactly the same thing.  I am appalled at this muckraking.  I expect this shit from Kos or HuffPo, but Fox and CNN?  Or any other supposedly responsible journalist?  WTF?  Are these people not going to be happy until there’s a race war?

In this particular case, apparently, there’s an argument for self-defense.  Apparently, Zimmerman was bloodied.  So, there was a physical altercation.  Now, that, in itself doesn’t mean anything.  He could still be guilty of murder, or maybe it was self-defense.  I don’t know, and neither does anyone else reading this.  Apparently, there were a few witnesses, but what they witnessed, seems to be in question.  I don’t know and neither do you.

Justice?  I’ll say something else about this.  Everyday, someone is shot and killed.  Everyday.  Sometimes the killers are arrested and found guilty of murder and either sent to prison or executed.  Sometimes they are not.  For those with tunnel vision, I Googled “shot and killed today”.  Outside of Martin, I got this…….. and much, much more.

The stepdaughter of Earnest Luttrell, a man who was killed as a result of a murder-for-hire plot, is in a San Antonio jail today,

BLACKSBURG, Va. — A police officer and another person were shot and killed on the campus of Virginia Tech University today and the school ordered a campus lockdown, as a suspect remained on the run.

Man shot, killed, early today in Lawrence

A veteran police officer died Monday after he was shot in the face at the scene of a home robbery in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn, in what Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg called a “horrible, depraved criminal attack.”

For the second time in less than 18 months, a bar in Kansas City’s Crossroads District became the scene of a fatal shooting last weekend.

Bail denied for teen charged in Avondale slaying A 17-year-old boy was denied bail today …..

Texas police kill 8th-grader flashing pellet gun in school

Man shot to death near Occupy Oakland camp

Man shot after answering Craigslist ad for cellphone

Park ranger’s killing may be connected to Skyway shooting; suspect still at large

These were all people. Fellow citizens, loved ones, someone’s son, daughter, mother, father……. oh, and they all were of a race as well. Are we to the point of accepting killing if the killer and the dead were of a specific racial mix? I wonder, if the Hispanic Zimmerman was named Lopez, would there be this much vitriol? If the shooter was black would people care less?  Why?

This is a sick and disgusting display.  I’m incredibly disheartened by all of this.

There’s big money in “racial strife”…..
The news makes money…..the oppression of the black man, makes money….the democrats make money

    • suyts says:

Yes, preying upon people, encouraging their most base reaction….. these are some disgusting, not even human, sorry SOBs.

      • miked1947 says:

Jesse Jackson comes to mind on that one.

      • Latitude says:

sounds a little like global warming, don’t it………..

We wouldn’t even have a democrat party…..if they couldn’t divide

        • suyts says:

No doubt, and now Fox has an asshole T. J. McCormack couching this issue as a left/right issue. As if it was the business of any of the candidates to interject themselves in this law enforcement matter.

  2. miked1947 says:

See what I get for not paying attention to the so called NEWS.
BFD someone shot someone, it happens all the time and the only people that should GAF are the local law. The parents gave up their right when they released someone that was involved in fighting. If he was a teen the parents should be sued. Any one approaching me with intent to do harm will get blown away, my only defense is a 45 acp and I do not shoot to wound. I shoot to stop, cold.

    • Latitude says:

You got your pig back! too…..if you take it out, you better use it

    • suyts says:

Well, it’s a little more complicated than that. The wannabe was following the young man. I don’t know who initiated the physical contact or, whether or not that was pertinent to the claim of self-defense.

      • miked1947 says:

AFAIAC the Wannabe destroyed his self defense with his statements on the 911 call. He admitted initiating the contact. the 911 operator told him not to follow. That is according to the chain of events I just read.
It is a legal thing and every one else should STFU!
        Probably even ME!

  3. miked1947 says:

I found this one more interesting than a punk kid getting blown away by a wannabe cop. The trigger puller should not have confronted the punk.
    For your reading pleasure

  5. Ted G says:

Your thoughts and writing echo my own, well said!

    • suyts says:

Thanks Ted….. it’s just so frustrating to see people buy into all of this hyperbole and then feed it to others…… it’s horrible.

  6. Vickie Wells Bush says:

How true, the only True Justice is when you meet your maker someday… this is a very sad story whether you are black, white, blue, green or whatever. 😦

  7. Latitude says:

Problem is, Zimmerman doesn’t fit their racial profiling stereotype………..

“George is a Spanish-speaking minority with many black family members and friends. He would be the last to discriminate for any reason whatsoever.”
