I thought this would go with WordPress’ summary. It kinda takes me back. As far as I know, we were the first to point out the negative trend for RSS going back that far(pre 1998). But, I was watching and waiting for it to happen. And, as far as I know, we were the first to point out that BEST’s data didn’t show any warming. Further, as far as I know we were the only ones to show the satellite corruption! I’ve never seen an annual quantification of the snow data like we’ve done here. We’re not the busiest blog, but I think we’ve contributed quite a bit. We also showed a systematic discontinuation of tidal gauges that showed lowering sea levels. When I say we, it was and is a we effort. The exposition of the satellite mess is largely to Latitude’s credit, with Mike making significant contributions in his comments. The snow idea was largely due to unfair criticism of Steve at RealScience when he showed the increase in winter snow extent. The BEST data wouldn’t have been shown without Paul Clark adding the data in his wonderful app at Woodfortrees.

“due to unfair criticism of Steve”
Speaking of which, I still remember the unfair criticism of jeez (Charles the Moderator) at WUWT over a graph showing GISTemp data diverging from the other data sets. jeez’s criticism was so far off beam it inspired me to make these two videos showing Steven was right—clearly and easily right.
It was an interesting period of time. I never realized you were the one who made those video!
The graph showing how GISTemp had changed in the last 12 years was so a clear piece of evidence against global warming being an above board ‘science’ I wanted to make a demonstration that would show in a simple way that something was up in James Hansen’s data set.
Yeah, it was me that made it. I know I don’t know as much about math as you and lat and others. But what was in the video was pretty basic math. And maybe its simplicity makes it a stronger case.
Simplicity always does. And those videos certainly made an impact!
Well done, James. You have beaten me by one Sydney Opera House!
Keep up the good work.

Thanks! And you, too, Paul!

Utility may cut off power to solar plant
January 1, 2012 by Don Surber
Idaho Power plans to cut off electricity on Tuesday to plant in Pocatello, Idaho, that makes material for solar energy, because the factory owes $1.9 million in unpaid utility bills. The dispute is with Honolulu-based Hoku Scientific, Inc., which is backed by Chinese financing and enjoys federal and state incentives.

lmao! I’m wondering why don’t they just put up solar panels? Isn’t that suppose to solve all of our energy probs?
touches finger to nose…………………..LOL
It’s going to be another one of those – you give us tax money, and we give some of it back to you as contributions
