A humorous diversion……

Given the weighty topics of conversations we have here, I thought a little levity may be in order.  From an e-mail my brother sent me………

I was eating lunch with my 7 year-old granddaughter and I asked her, “What day is tomorrow?”

She said, “It’s President’s Day!”

She is a smart kid.

I asked, “What does President’s Day mean?”

I was waiting for something about Washington or Lincoln … etc.

She replied, “President’s Day is when President Obama steps out of the White House, and if he sees his shadow we have one more year of unemployment.”

You know, it hurts when hot coffee spurts out your nose…

Ok, well, upon deeper reflection, it may not be that funny, but still worth posting…..

LOL……I’ve got one for you too, but I’ll have to email it

So let’s give them more control of our lives!!

Right. It boggles my mind how there are some people that believe more of what government is giving us would be better.

Governments that govern the least, govern the best.

if the Tea Party is so marginalized, so small, so racist, and so anti-mainstream….
..why have the Tea Party candidates walked away with every convention

The republican party is going to have a hard time with this one…
..until they realize that the ideas of the Tea Party are mainstream, and obviously the majority

I just had a comment disappear at WUWT!!!
    On this thread:
Anthony is tearing apart Gores CO2 experiment but goes on to claim the glass blocks the infrared from a heat lamp.
I attempted to write showing there have been many times heat lamps were used to show how efficient such things as window treatments or even dual pane windows are at reducing warmth inside a house or vehicle. I hit post and it disappeared, no awaiting moderation just a refresh to the top of the page. He must have his troll meter set to high as my claim was that what I saw in the real world must have been an illusion if what he claimed was true!
Just another reason I usually refrain from posting there!

Hmm…. I’m real sorry to hear that, I’m sure there will be a logical explanation. Usually, when that happens to me, I simply give the moderators a heads up and they retrieve it from their spam bin…… it happens to me often, but I attribute it to my last name though.

I’ve had that happen to me on a few occasions. You hit “Post” then wind up at the top of the page. I found that if you refresh your browser without first closing the window, often times the post will reappear. Of course, it could be an over zealous trollometer too.

      • Mike Davis says:

I tried the refresh and it did not work.
I have refrained from posting at WUWT for some time so what I saw I felt needed to be addressed or I would have let it alone.
