Yes, that’s a rhetorical question. We all know why. To be fair, they don’t hate all Hispanics. They really like the ones they hire as maids, or gardeners. And, they seem to have a unique fondness for murderous communist Hispanics like Che Guevara. It’s just that they hate the successful ones who speak their minds.
The last couple of weeks, they’ve really been insane about trying to find ways to attack these people. First, it was Marc Rubio’s response to Obama’s SOTU address. This was so desperate, instead of focusing on the content of Rubio’s words, they turned to an irrational fixation on his water drinking. Weird, I know, but that’s leftists for you. Don’t get me wrong, their criticism wasn’t confined to drinking water. NBC also managed to call him “primitive” along with some other slurs. WaPo has been attacking Rubio for some time now, printing lies and then erasing them without editorial acknowledgment. Now, it’s freshman Texas Senator Ted Cruz’ turn.
Unlike Rubio, Cruz apparently, doesn’t drink from water bottles while speaking…… or something. What he does do, however, is speak his mind, which is rather refreshing coming from an American politician. WaPo is upset he asked former senator Chuck Hagel, nominee for defense secretary, for more than required financial information. Remember when that was all the rage for Romney? Apparently it is now wrong to ask for such things. WaPo also attacked Cruz in another piece stating …… “Cruz proved himself to be needlessly combative, lecturing and tone-deaf. Traits that were on display this week when Cruz raised concerns that appeared to question Hagel’s patriotism.” Both were essentially saying the same thing. ‘He doesn’t know his place’ One of them were even titled “No control of Ted Cruz”.
The NY Times even went birther on Cruz, by noting he was born in Canada, but didn’t bothering to mention he was born to a mother who was a U.S. citizen. Leftist Senators Barbara Boxer and Claire McCaskill accused Cruz of McCarthyism (noted in the same NY Times piece.) Of course, to that I say, given the charming fellows who were the face of communism, such as Pol Pot, Mao, Stalin, and the like, I’d like to thank the late senator for trying to protect this nation. Late last month NBC even wrote this “Ted Cruz’s craziness is the unfunny, dangerous kind“
Oddly, this isn’t dissimilar to the treatment Herman Cain got from the left when he announced he was going to work at Fox News. Hmm, anyone noticing a pattern?
