Follow the Light! February 4
Scripture Selection: Psalm 35:4-6; Proverbs 4:18-19; John 12:46
Food for Thought: John 12:46
Once when I was traveling in Mexico, we were taken to a long tunnel which leads through a mountain to a “bottomless” volcanic crater filled with water. We were told that if we met cattle coming through the tunnel at the same time as us, we were to be very quiet and lean against the wall of the tunnel so as not to cause them to stampede.
Before entering the dark corridor, I began to express my reservations about walking through such obscurity and danger. My concerns were settled when the guide told me to stay close to him and his flashlight, and everything would be all right. And everything was. We arrived on the other side to find beautiful turquoise water beckoning us to dive in and enjoy.
It’s amazing how darkness can be all around us, and yet we can be in the Light. Jesus is the Light, and where He and His Word are, there is no darkness. No confusion, no evil, no uncertainty. When facing those things, all we have to do is follow the Light, and He leads us through everything.

I needed this today….
on another note….Willis has posted one of his romantic/ethereal posts on WUWT…about dolphins
Why people romanticize dolphins I’ll never know….
…our wild dolphins are not afraid of you…will beat the holy crap out of you…and can’t be trusted
That’s the only think we get the kids out of the water for……….
I’m glad to read that the post had a message that met your need for the day. God has done that sort of thing for me time and time again. The right message just at the right time.
