HuffPo Nails It! —— Inadvertently

I got a kick out of the HuffPo’s “Green” page.  Here’s one of their headline grabbers…..

An ally in the fight?  He sure was……

In a sign of one major internal difference, Mr. Chu has called for gradually ramping up gasoline taxes over 15 years to coax consumers into buying more-efficient cars and living in neighborhoods closer to work.

“Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe,” Mr. Chu, who directs the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in California, said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal in September.

It’s nutjobbers like him who make it rather easy for us in the fight.

so we’re producing gasoline too cheap….and have to artificially inflate the price

…I thought the democrats we’re doing that with everything anyway

He is yet another “educated well beyond their ability to understand”. He is, by any measure of his prognostications, an idiot. Good riddance!
These people should be collected up and made to live the life they advocate for others. Maybe then they could understand more about what it takes to live without so much privilege but I doubt it.

    • suyts says:

Absolutely. They could choose to lead by example, but their hypocrisy doesn’t allow for it.

    • cdquarles says:

Chu wasn’t educated beyond his ability to understand. He was schooled or brainwashed (your choice) beyond his ability to understand. Now about your other proposal, I agree. These folk need to be dropped off naked in the Amazon or the Congo or even South Louisiana and have to fend for themselves, while the rest of us take bets on their survival half life or who dies first/last. ;) j/k

  3. philjourdan says:

Chu was just voicing what Obama said in 2008.

    • suyts says:

Yeh, but, he motivated many to become skeptics with his babbling inanities. I think we need more Chu’s out there advocating the nutjobbery!

      • philjourdan says:

Most of them are babbling idiots. You just have to listen to what they say, and watch what they do to know that. Did we not have an Annan idiocy just this past week? Hansen? Mann? Gore? Trenberth? Not all at the same time, but in order to maintain their god, they have to become babbling idiots.
