We recently had a horrible violent occurrence. It tragically ended a life by gunshot wounds. Three others were shot! They could have easily died.
Stalking suspect dead after overpowering arresting officer, taking gun, wounding 3
Don’t you think it’s time we talked about a gun ban for police officers? How long are we going to bury our heads in the sand?!?!?! These guns are killing people! And they could have killed a lot more!! Clearly it’s time to disarm the police! At the very least, disarm them in the police station. We can make the stations gun free zones!!!
As well meaning as the police officers are, we can’t run from the fact that if that one police officer wasn’t armed, that criminal wouldn’t have had access to a firearm and threaten the lives of other innocent people and nearly killed them.
NAUGHTY BOY!!!!!!!!!
I dunno, the police are there to protect and serve. If their guns were taken away, we would never read thing like this (course with todays mass media, you often don’t hear about thing like this unless it fits the agenda). http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/10/05/14240162-unarmed-man-shot-dead-by-police-in-nyc?lite. http://www.cato.org/pubs/briefs/bp-056es.html.
Yes, while my post was tongue-in-cheek, these tragic stories are all too frequent.

“If Hobby Lobby has to pay fines for not complying with Obamacare laws, David Gregory and his staff should be charged and convicted with knowingly violating DC gun laws. Period. That would be fairness. That would be an equal application of the law.
So, by arguing that Gregory shouldn’t even be investigated, let alone prosecuted, liberals are saying that they get to decide which laws should be enforced. They are basically saying that the law is only relevant when they say it is. If that’s the case, the law has no meaning. And yet they’ll be the first to propose new laws that must be followed for the greater good, until they decide it can be broken to make a point.”
For quite a while now, I’ve been comparing Obama’s regime with the one of Chavez (also observing the riches both of them accumulate). Arbitrary application of law is one of the hallmarks of a caudillo takeover of a former democracy. Removal of term limits is the next one I expect.
First progressive attempts at removing term limits.

Won’t happen. After 8 years, regardless of their performance in the WH, both the president and the people are tired of them being there. Reagan, Clinton, and Bush were all tired after 8 years.
They didn’t have enough vacations. Obama knows from his Choom Gang days that life is about relaxing and blaming the other guy.
Well, true that.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Friday urged residents to keep Sen’s death in perspective as he touted new historic lows in the city’s annual homicide and shooting totals.
“It’s a very tragic case, but what we want to focus on today is the overall safety in New York,” Bloomberg told reporters following a police academy graduation.

Such subway deaths are rare, but transit officials said last week they would consider installing barriers with sliding doors on some subway platforms.

This is the second time this month that someone murders someone by shoving them out onto the tracks in front of an oncoming Subway train. For those who have been arguing that guns are the problem, she killed him with her hands, do we outlaw hands?
Or Subway Trains?
Nope, outlaw socialist stupidity
