This is delicious. The gun control nuts have gone full bore stupid in their zeal to attack gun owners and the NRA. Their hypocrisy is beyond immoral, one of them have crossed the line to illegal.
Breitbart reports…..
While attacking National Rifle Association President Wayne La Pierre on NBC’s Meet the Press this weekend, host David Gregory actually violated gun laws in the city where he broadcasts.
During the show, Gregory waved around a 30-round magazine for what he claimed is an AR-15 rifle. But since Meet the Press is taped in NBC’s Washington D.C. studios this is actually a violation of the city’s strict gun laws.
Washington D.C. specifically bans the very ammunition magazine that Gregory bandied about during his discussion.
Gregory demonstrates the effectiveness of such bans. A ban on weapons or limits on magazines doesn’t do anything towards their use or availability. Well played David. Did this occur to our muttonheaded friend? I doubt it. He, like most of the emotionally ruled leftists are beyond reason. But, our friend David Gregory wasn’t finished in assisting the gun ownership advocates and the NRA.
Good for me, not for thee
In a piece from the Weekly Standard….
Gregory also claimed that security guards don’t work. “But you would concede that, as good as an idea as you think this is, it may not work. Because there have been cases where armed guards have not prevented this kind of massacre, this kind of carnage. I want you would concede that point, wouldn’t you?,” the NBC anchor said.
The Gregory children go to school with the children of President Barack Obama, according to the Washington Post. That school is the co-ed Quaker school Sidwell Friends.
According to a scan of the school’s online faculty-staff directory, Sidwell has a security department made up of at least 11 people. Many of those are police officers, who are presumably armed.
The article also notes that Obama’s children are also accompanied by an armed security detail…. because armed protection for children doesn’t work?
Of course Gregory isn’t the only one to display their hypocrisy. Some of the most vocal advocates of gun control use armed guards for protection. The world’s smallest tyrant has an armed guard around the clock. Same for NY Governor Cuomo. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who blasted the NRA on Friday, gets uniformed police protection worth $3 million a year.
You see, these people believe they are elite. They believe that the rules we are governed by need not apply to them. These people and their children are protected by armed people. They don’t believe the little commoners such as us should have the same protection for our children and grandchildren as they do.
It’s a sad state that many of the citizens of this nation would even lend these people their ear.
Trust me I have power and authority!…
I have to admit Psychological Science has little to offer most people but this paper on power and hypocrisy is most revealing -
http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/faculty/galinsky/Power%20Hypocrisy%20Psych%20Science%20in%20press.pdf
With the very telling conclusion that contains the lines -
“The powerful impose more normative restraints on others, but believe they
themselves can act with less restraint. The less powerful, in contrast, are less inclined to
impose norms on others, but more rigidly follow these themselves. This means that people
with power not only take what they want because they can do so unpunished, but also
because they intuitively feel they are entitled to do so. Conversely, people who lack power
not only fail to get what they need because they are disallowed to take it, but also because
they intuitively feel they are not entitled to it. Further, we found these effects even after
minimal, unaware lexical priming manipulations.”
How true, and it only took three people educated to PhD level to find this out…
No doubt. However, the most empowering tool one can ever have, is a free mind. Once you have that, you no longer feel you are not entitled to what the empowered have.
Maybe that’s the reasone the very rich promote socialism.
Yes! Exactly. They like the idea of collectivism because they automatically assume that they will be running the collective.
Probably, it’s almost always about power.

Does any one remember the race riots…and everything else…..because this girl lied?
“Glenda Brawley said, adding, “We should be millionaires.” They said they had asked New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo and Governor Eliot Spitzer to reopen the case. They also said that Brawley, who has converted to Islam, would speak at any legal proceedings.[33]”

If it pays…
I remember. The scumbags imperiled countless lives because of their hate.
Delusion, meet Hypocrisy. Hypocrisy, Delusion. You two should get along well.
And they do.
